A friend of mine has a lad on City’s books.
He boards at city, where he gets a ‘private’ education and plays every day under the best coaches in the world. They travel all over the world to play in tournaments and my friend goes along as his 15 year old needs his parent along! They have players from all over world, the crème de la crème. As my friend says, if he doesn’t make it, he’s been educated, matured and had one hell of a journey. His family are a bit special, one son at City, one at Sheffield United and a daughter at the Northern Ballet School.
So for our lads to face perhaps one of the best youth setups around and do okay, I applaud every single one of the. Proud to be Yellow.
