Tried to keep it a realistic list.
Have put the names of managers out of work that I could find who’ve managed in the Championship & L1 in the last year.

Any realistic names I’ve missed out. Fire them over 👍

There needs to a wild card option, who had heard of the ipswich manager or critchley before blackpool, need a new way of thinking to get the ball flowing again

Added.

Both were on the coaching staff/youth team of PL clubs.

What does anyone know about Rob Edwards style of playing and typical formation? Would it work with our unbalanced squad?

Voted Critchely but can’t see him dropping back down to L1 anytime soon, unless one of the big jobs comes up. Tactically he absolutely bamboozled KR and managed to kill a 2 legged tie in 45 minutes of football in our play-off semi final.

I would be happy with Critchley or Ferguson. Both have promotions from this division to their names, recently too rather than the dusty, cob-webbed award that KR has, and I think we’d become a more robust side under either.

Critchley maybe clinches it for me as I still think as a head coach he can develop further whereas Ferguson at most is a third tier specialist. That said, we know Ferguson operates well in a buy-develop-sell model so has that in his favour.

Either would be good bets.

Surely Critchley will be looking for Championship jobs, or top half L1 teams who are falling short of the playoffs?

Does Neil Critchley do ‘South of Birmingham’? Anyway I’m sure he and the board have other plans.

Can’t be any harm in saying we’ve got a long term well paid deal here to Critchley. Do you fancy it.. the upsides if he did the job here he did at Blackpool would transform this club under this new ownership
