All we need is a couple of small posts from Charlie, will soon be there.

For a reminder, here's the 'wow' quote in context:

he would have a real ‘wow ‘ factor for the fans and send very strong signals out that we mean business and are serious about moving this club into a higher division

That fits KR. We have been ambitious in acquiring the services of a manager with a proven promotion track record.

The only issue right now is the timing once again. Hopefully it will become clear after the appointment why it has taken so long because it is not an easy situation.

This could still all fit in with KR as a first choice.

Just don't get how Robinson could be deemed the answer to who fulfills the "Wow" factor quote. He wasn't available at the time of the quote, doesn't actually fit in with "wow" and, while probably being a reasonable manager, doesn't exactly set the world on fire.

And, can it really be that we have had to wait this long for him to decide on leaving Charlton? Don't get it, not at all.

He wasn’t the Wow. K

He wasn’t the Wow. Kluivert was. He refused. Plan B: Robinson. Simple.

As others have suggested Robinson clearly wasn’t the WOW appointment Tiger promised. That was obviously Kluivert. What will be interesting is if he admits that to the press.

Just bumped into Darryl Eales' Dad in Leamington Spa. Seemed a throroughly nice chap. He confirmed it should be today, but was rightfully tight lipped on who and any details.
Great sauce, little or no meat.
