National News Boris Johnson - Ousted Former PM

Yesterday's PMQs was Johnson at his worst - lying and if you're being incredibly generous, shockingly ill-informed. The heating allowance was one thing followed by denying comments made about inflation and various claims that Labour would have forced a lockdown (Labour backed Plan B at leadership level), would nationalise the gas industry and force another EU referendum. All lies and followed by the heating VAT debacle.

Angela Rayner is generally very good in PMQs and put in another good performance yesterday
Her final shot, asking through the speaker as a point or order for Johnson to correct his error/lie which obviously he refused or ignored.

And now embroiled (yet again) in more corrupt goings on around the Lord Brownenvelope donations.

I mean, I know the Tories want to take us back to the 1800's, but didn't think they'd go as far as re-creating the Great Exhibition (for a cash donation, obvs).

Any case, looks like plans are well advanced: https://unboxed2022.uk/

I'm just hoping him, Patel and his other butter haired private school f***wits, get a NY invite from Elon Musk to travel to space. Boris for one wouldn't be able to resist the photo opp to be an astronaut. He's just like Mr Ben

As for his "mis-step" of getting the heating allowance figures totally wrong, he has shown himself to be at best no more competent than Diane Abbott

If only the rules of the house allowed her to play the clip from Sky News of him saying the thing he denied. Same ridiculous nonsense as not actually being able to call out "honourable members" as liars directly.

Honestly, if this was France, Spain, etc there would be riots.

Effectively house arrest whilst these arseholes are getting pissed together on what seems an almost daily basis.
Britain could never quite see a revolution through the way the French could. Civil war, 3 reform acts and we’re still pandering to the upper classes.

We're just bunch of cap doffers and forelock tuggers with an unhealthy fascination with royalty. Put them all up against the wall.

If he was at the party, then anybody with an ounce of moral fibre or integrity would resign now; of course he lacks either so will cling on desperately as long as he can

As it was in his garden.............. anyway there is an ongoing investigation so nothing to see here.

Par for the course.

Tories up and down the UK currently running around blindfolded with fingers in their ears making woo-woo noises until it all goes away :ROFLMAO:

Have you seen the "email evidence"..... doesn`t stand much scrutiny.
It also appears that a chap at ITN is married to a chap in the cabinet office so has all the tools to knock something up.
That could explain why nothing "sticks".

If anyone thinks that an establishment like Downing Street or the HoC can function for the benefit of the nation "within the rules" then they are somewhat nieve.

And lets not mention AR being out canvassing in groups at the same time........... or the invisible KS at his office party....

it seems this 'do as we say not do as we do' government really do like their soirees and gatherings ....

Michael Ellis (Paymaster General) could teach the England cricket team about playing with a straight bat....................

"Nobody is hiding, the investigation is without fear or favour, will be equitable and fair, PM abides by the 7 principles, he`s a man of intrgrity, civil servant will report."

Meanwhile tales from the other side - "watched a funeral on Zoom"...... "someone died"..... "people got fined"......

"Inappropriate to make a running commentary during an investigation."

Other side - 18 year old died of NHL - family couldn`t all attend her funeral........

"It was a tragic death, nothing I can say except offer our condolences..... "

Will he apologise to the heroes of the NHS.........

"The PM has thanked all keyworkers and will continue to do so - he himself was treated at G&StTs"

300 folk in Dumbarton have died without visitors....... does he agree the PM agreed with the party invite, civil servants aren`t impartial....

"No comment see the investigation"

And so it goes on............................ :)

Good to see Pinocchio is still trying to inhabit the moral high ground. Of course his moral high ground is getting his nose out of the cesspit for a couple of quick gasps before descending further.

Of course if that was true then they would have come out already and said it is fake. The lack of denial on this one is very telling. But lets not stop grasping at straws.
