People need to remember Karl is on the shelf again for the first time in years and looking to get off pretty soon, I would think. Hardly going to come out and interview as a bumbling mess with baggage.

Agree he will be pretty relieved and sounds refreshed already. But don’t expect Jodi Jones and Oisin Smyth to be sending well wishes - he’s lynched them both of an imperative 6 months of football for their careers among many other players.

But the post you quoted doesn't say he wasn't bullshitting, or that Karl had absolved himself. It just says the interview was more coherent. Which it clearly was, because he wasn't just shouting "clarityyyyyyy!".

He knew he has done badly this year for us he's left us in a terrible place. I think we are odds on to go down but I think we will know by 5pm tonight whether there is any fight or he had lost the players as some many think or we are just poor. He will be going for damage limitation because he will want another job but anyone looking at hows he's messed up with a big budget would be worried I can see him in league 2 but not one or above .He's done his own reputation real damage. We have got some good managers to chose between but they are going to have to be good after the nightmare Karl has left any of them with.
