Once again, all the "usual" rules could go out the window and the lease could be terminated. We might have to change name or something, but so might others.Really though, a professional club is a name, a tradition, a league place, a shirt and ideally an established ground. I'm sure a lot of us would go along to watch in future if the first team was mainly kids plus maybe Ruffs and a couple of other senior players playing largely out of goodwill and helping to run the club. The problem we have is of course that we need to pay rent on the ground.
What about this, Oxford United as we know it, ceases to exist and becomes Oxford City. City changes their colours to Yellow and Blue. Games are played at Court Farm (as we dont need a stadium, as its all online viewing). Our Squad is made up of full and part time players, for example paid 500GBP a week or per game.
