So you hope it will happen even though you don't think it will help? Why?correct.

Yup. When you devalue their tournament, only then will they care. The fact UEFA won't comment tonight speaks of spinning the situation.Clubs refusing to play on the Champions' League might get their attention, never happen of course, money always trumps morals.
What's the point of any comment on this thread? It's not a 'come up with ideas to help eradicate racism in football' thread. It's a general discussion about the racist element within this game and I hope England fans give them some this evening. Sorry if my opinion upsets you.
So there were continued monkey chants in the second half.
It is a shame that the game wasnt abandoned.
Just read what he said on the BBC website. It's no wonder the Bulgarian team are so poor when the bloke managing them is deaf and blind.there manager should be sacked for talking bolloxs saying it didn’t happen
Bulgaria v England racism: Bulgarian prime minister calls for football chief to resign https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50054475
I may be missing something, but despite the headline, the text implies that their PM is highlighting the results as the reason to sack the head of the Bulgarian FA and not the racism.
Bit of a cheek Johnson complaining about racism considering his past comments.

Yes - not 100% clear is it - bit of a mixed bag.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Borissov called his nation "one of the most tolerant countries in the world" but said it is "unacceptable" people there connect with racism and xenophobia.
"I call on Borislav Mihaylov to immediately resign as president of the Bulgarian Football Union," he said.
"After yesterday's shameful loss of the Bulgarian National Team and given the bad results of our football, I ordered to end any relationship with BFU, including financial, until the withdrawal of Borislav Mihaylov from the post."
In terms of sanctions - there is a suggestion that Bulgaria should be kicked out of the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign. I don't think UEFA have the b*lls to do that but even if they did, Bulgaria can't qualify from the group and (if I've understood the complicated qualification rules correctly), they are unlikely to make the play-off stage because Norway finished above them in the Nations League and are only 4th in their Euro qualifying group - so apart from symbolism, would Bulgaria's expulsion really make them suffer? Best we can probably hope for though.
Thought they could still qualify through the same route as Scotland, a play off because of the nations cup thing. Could be wrong though as UEFA have made it very complicated now.
UEFA will make the occasional show about racism but then do nothing about it, UEFA is predominantly made up of countries where this sort of thing is still acceptable and where they can’t understand the fuss that the few western, diverse countries make over it.
The article is about ‘their PM’
