We've got no-one to put the ball in the net..
Depressingly looking bleak.. All round a very very poor Oxford team..

Terrible game between two awful teams - although we were the worse of the two.

There is no pace or invention about the side at all, and the passing was frankly laughable at times.

Eastwood our best player. Negru made a very good full debut. Widschut was once a decent player - he isn't any longer.

The result wasn't really good enough, and that is 13 without a win.
14 isnt it?

Can't believe the negativity. A makeshift team, riven with injuries (and with a teenager and 20 year old making his first start for the club) gets an away point at a team higher than us in the league. I'd say that's something to celebrate.

So desperate not to lose that we created nothing all game.

Eastwood - MOM
Long - rubbish first half, alright second half
Findlay - few decent games in a row for him now
Negru - impressed defensively but can’t pass
Brown - why did no one pass him the ball?!!
McGuane - Christ me
Brannagan - Eh
Joseph - flatters to deceive, poor today
Murphy - again, why was he not passed to, thought he looked out brightest player
O Donkor - good at the hold up, too inexperienced to be anything near what we need though
Browne - why did we take him off?

Fleming - play him rest of the season
Wildschut - much improved on Sheff Wed game
Smith - only on for 2 mins

Point gained thanks to Eastwood. Negru looks a good prospect but the other 9 players on the pitch couldn't play pass the parcel let alone break down a poor Port Vale side.

That was good enough 2 months ago. It isn't now. Ask the board why - see if they know yet.

Very unambitious performance, but it's hardly surprising we don't threaten the goal when we've only got 2.5 players apart from defenders who are league 1 standard.
