Yeah, I understood where you were coming from, but just used your comment to make mine e.g. ultimately we need to make a change, so I think they need a plan in place and whatever happens Saturday the plan should stay the same. I hope to god they’ve learnt from their error of going game to game as they did with Karl.
I hope they act quickly too. But sadly I don’t think haste is something they do.
slow appointing KR, terrible slow transfer windows, slow getting rid of KR. im sure I read somewhere eastern business is done a bit like that.

@bert I removed the people who were getting very few votes and asked the starter of the poll to add more potential names to the list which he has done.
Nothing mysterious about the changes, just trying to keep the options up to date. You can change your vote at any time.
Where's Timmy Mallet then @Malc? I'm joking - don't add him! Well done for keeping the list up to date.

I think most managers would have a look at the league table and back themselves to see us safe pretty cosily.

We know how rich our board are, there’s every chance we can outspend a few Cship clubs both with manager wages and budget.
Yeah, that’s until they do their first training session and see what pile of shite they have to deal with..and just as they’re digesting that, Murphy and all the other cronies then turn up!! Puts head in hands whilst at the same time thinking, how the f**k did Karl last that long!!

One more point.

Whoever we get they would have either been;

a. Sacked before.
b. Never managed at this level.

Neither would necessarily make them a bad appointment!
Not exactly putting your neck on the line there buddy!

Can’t think of too many options that would be outside your parameters and within reasonable chance of getting the job.

Thats kind of the point, it's not a prediction buddy!

It's just for those who will say that MApp has failed elsewhere, Buckingham hasn't managed in the EFL etc. We're not going to attract someone that is experienced, flawless - and appeals to everyone.

Morison was liked by the Cardiff fan base, he got them playing nice stuff and brought through young talent. He left the club because he stood up to Tan the godawful owner there. Apparently.

I’d say he’s got a reasonable chance.

I'm going a long way back in the thread.....but this is absolutely true.

Our fans have shown several times over the years that they won't turn out if the football's crap, even if we're getting results.

When both Atkins and Wilder left us, we were in the playoff positions and not far off the top of League Two. But the crowds were under 6,000 and under 5,000 respectively.

I think we would all tolerate rubbish football for the next two months if it eked out 15 points and kept us up.
But history would suggest that our fanbase won't keep turning out in big numbers for long if the football we're playing is tedious. Even if it's effective.
The way i like to see it is, we are a special club and should always play football in a special way, fast paced, attacking, possession based football. We should be renowned for playing this way and never resort to hoofball crap.
