National News Boris Johnson - Ousted Former PM

Yes, but at least he won’t have to buy new wallpaper as Distrust hasn’t had time to change it since she’s been there.

I feel sorry for the poor No.10 cat who has now had more owners than STFC.

He was "removed" due to him being a compulsive liar his personal failings (very broad brush but you get the gist).
The parliamentary party, the membership and, a hefty chunk of the electorate were behind him and some folk even suggested such a thing might happen.

Politics eh?
There you go!

The chunk that was diminishing rather quickly you mean according to the polls?

Best thing for our country is to bring back a bloke that his colleagues thought was not trustworthy, and that 69% polling suggested that the public didn’t trust.

I know that they don’t have to but the best thing for the country, (you know that thing that gets in the way of the tories vanity project) is to get a new leader and then call a general election.

You are of course right.

And those bleating on about 2024 know they are just delaying the inevitable of this government being utterly humiliated at the ballot box.

In one respect, I hope they do stay until 2024, because then they and they alone will have to lie in the bed they have already shat in and will continue to soil during that time. In the meantime, the grown ups can continue to make preparations to clean up the horrible mess they've made and rid the nation of the stench.

Bitter froth there. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

You can change the bed & clean up or even buy a new one.

Either way, as we have learnt 18 months/2 years is a long time in politics.

You need to learn to accept that the system is what it is, you`ll sleep better and be less "frothy".

No froth here Ali, just bags and bags of popcorn and plenty of patience :ROFLMAO:

Change might be easy for some, but not for you bunch of busted flushes. I don't think many of your leopards will be all that capable of changing their spots any time soon.

One wonders how many PMs you will go through between now and 2024. At this rate, half the Tory MPs will get their 15 minutes of fame:ROFLMAO:🤡

So yet again Tory party will have the final say not the electorate of the UK. Some of these members will not be on the UK electoral roll. Some will not be citizens of the UK. Please explain how this is democratic.

Are there 100 MPs willing to back him by Monday afternoon in order for him to be on the ballot?

He'll get the obvious like JRM, Dorries etc but those outside the cult, it is hard to say. I suspect it will further deepen the divide between the factions if he does and gets to a members vote that he'll probably win.

I’ve been watching this today. It’s something that was closed down by the tories as something done a few days ago, and for something that’s closed it picked up over 40,000 votes today alone.

Boris is such a gamble for tories isn’t he. On the one hand a lot of voters seem to like him. On the other he’s a lying c**t who’s been found out.

And the situation is different to before. Get Brexit Done. Rah! B*****s, gaffes and bluster will see you through. Only now there’s a hole in the public finances bigger than Brexit (which hasn’t gone away either), interest rates are soaring and public services are about to be fucked even harder to balance the books that have been burnt by Truss. It’s not easy to spin that sort of thing and be popular. Even for Boris.
