Disagree. It would make it more attractive for a manager wanting to rebuild in January especially if funds are available due to us being nowhere near the squad cap.
We all know how difficult it would be to substantially overhaul a side in January. Besides I can't actually see him going, no matter what we might think...

A bit of heart but basically nowhere near good enough - as widely predicted.

Shame we couldn’t hold on to a point, but they were the better team, and looked more dangerous, where as we looked lost in the final third.

Almost forgot we were playing until mid way through the second half.

It’s a result that shows where we are. We can beat the rubbish but can’t lay a finger on the top sides.

My concern is the lack of goals. Squeezing past the also rans is a tad worrying.

It’s a team that’s nowhere near capable of promotion and I’m yet to be convinced it’s truly one that won’t be in a relegation battle either.
Do we have any decent strikers?

Didn’t think Easty was to bad tonight but the defence total crap
Really?! You’ve gone in quite hard with other comments and yet Eastwood escapes criticism?

How many more times do we need to see him get a hand to a shot from outside the box and it still fly in.

His kicking was better today but he’s escaped punishment on 2 or 3 occasions tonight. I made him one of our poorest performers on the night but luckily for him, Bodin was that bad he will likely get most of the criticism tonight.

Eastwood was desperately poor tonight.

Hmm
What is the point of Bodin. Absokute dross game after game
We create very little.
Eastwood concedes the same goal pretty much every game
Plymouth looked average. If they are promotion favourites were missing a trick this season.

I don't remember you being that positive about last season?
I actually was on several occasions. There was lots to like about us last season in terms of going forward and scoring goals. The issues were at the back and just needed tweaks in a couple of key areas. That was what cost us the playoff places.

This season we havent dealt with any of those issues and have brought in lots weaker than those that left. It's a shambles of a team and manager.

Better side by a long way won. We have no balance and Henry’s crossing was wasteful. Bodin can’t start again surely. Frustrating watch us win, lose or draw! Plymouth should have scored a hatful where as we never created or trouble their keeper apart from the miss. Joseph should have scored and stole a draw at the end on that point.

Plymouth looked like a team that know what they’re about, which they are and should be. Handful of quality additions on top of a well balanced squad from last season. Good luck to them - nailed on top 6.

Oxford an ugly patchwork. Henry on the right just gave them acres to play with. They went past Seddon every time they tried to and he offers nothing going forward either. Eastwood should have saved their winner. Bodin and Bate anonymous. Long very good, McGuane excellent as always, Brown and Findlay can defend but can’t pass the ball (we miss Moore).

It’s clear we’re treading water until we can find some balance to the squad in January. Switching systems dependent on who’s fit. Playing people in positions they should be nowhere near. Playing kids who are miles off. It’s totally inexcusable and the dreadful transfer window will show when we meet good sides.
