I've no sympathy for them, they let their club die. Hate MK as much, both robbed a team of their place

Nah disagree. They were absolutely shafted. MK Dons are and always have been a plastic club. AFC Wimbledon should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved.

Notwithstanding, we STUFFED them tonight and it sets us up brilliantly for a "going for it" TM Scotchers January. Well done Robbo and team.

Their commentators were the biggest pair of tools going though. Spouting off about Robinson embarrassing. You got outclassed deal with it.

Umm. I think you'll find their Chairman sold the ground and had nowhere else lined up. Could have so easily happened to us if we hadn't struck lucky and had a caring, thoughtful Chairman like Firoz.
 
Great performance and result! Icing on the cake for me is jumping over the chair-numpties after they failed to keep a clean sheet at Portman Road tonight 😂✌️😄👍👊
 
What a performance that was. Fantastic team performance for the first 70ish minutes.

If we can get rid of some of the dead wood in January and get another option up top and a defensive mid to compete with the others in the centre of the park then we really could push on for the automatics this year.

I've not posted much on here but I imagine a high % of my posts mention Herbie Kane. What a player he is. I think it's really obvious that Cam enjoys playing with him too and I think making the investment in Kane could persuade Cam to stay on longer. I hope there weren't any Barnsley scouts watching today.

Huge credit to KR the way this team plays.
 
You have to laugh KR , says as it is about the said ref!
 
No arguments there. Absolutely fine win.

Let's hope Saturday goes ahead and we can continue on.
 
As entertaining and enjoyable as that was ifollow is no substitute for being there. ☹️😷

Maybe we should start a crowd-funding to keep Herbie here. If our new owners can't afford him ;)
 
Normally even with excellent performances you can point out one or two players that were below standard, but every single man in that first 11 gave an easy 8+/10 performance except maybe Easty because he had barely anything to do. When we play on song we are just a little bit special, and well beyond the standard required to win this league. A couple additions to allow us to perform like that more consistently and this could be a wonderful season.

And Herbie Kane stays! Happy New Year everyone!
