The main thing is that a thorough interview process is undertaken and the best candidate gets the job. If you are going to do an interview process, you have to treat it seriously. There can be no preferences. The speed for me has been pretty good. Anything quicker would have seemed rushed. Contract negotiations also have to be agreed.

Can confirm this is true, saw him in the gym earlier so I walked up to him and asked him if he’s coming back to save us.

He just winked at me and carried on with the bicep curls.

Make of that what you will.
must’ve been holding back the tears…
 
Fair play if McCann has beaten Appleton in the interview process. I think it’d be a huge shame not to tap into the feel good factor that MApp’s return would bring, and I feel he is best man for the job, but McCann is a very decent alternative.
