And they played the Bolton U12sThey would’ve played 1 more home game than us which is unfair which is why you have to apply average points home and away over 22 home and 22 away games.

They’ve just got to finish this season whenever, end of.
With all the ongoing uncertainty is it time to think about fundraising for the club to safeguard not just survival but maintaining the areas of strength such as the academy. I appreciate most people are going through a tough time as well so it many not be possible but... could you get 5000 people to give £20, £100 to have your name on next seasons shirt x 1000 (if you remember the England shirt with tiny names built into the design), etc
As well intended as this is, it's a drop in the ocean towards our operating costs without any certainty of things ever getting back to 'normal'.With all the ongoing uncertainty is it time to think about fundraising for the club to safeguard not just survival but maintaining the areas of strength such as the academy. It’s over! I just hope we can have next seasonAgreed. I'm not sure why people are trying to present the 'null and void' solution like it's the rational argument, it isn't. Finish this season next season if you have to.

I have done the calculations and Wycombe have 17 points from 16 games at an average of 1.066 giving them a further 6.396from away games and a further 9.332 from their 4 home games giving them a further 15.728 points. We would get a further 15.917 points. So who's done the calculations? (Average points per home game * home games remaining) + (Average points per away game * away games remaining) + current points total. Where does that put Wycombe
Exceptionally optimistic I would suggest. Why not wait untl all squads and match officals can be tested for the virus or the antibodies and then play the games behind closed doors with all matches covered on TV and local radio? It's not perfect but they could get the season completed between mid May and end of June.
I think this will go on for another 3 months I have to self contain until me the end of June. It I can’t see it being given the all clear then, I do believe we may lie looking at September at the earliest. Why not wait untl all squads and match officals can be tested for the virus or the antibodies and then play the games behind closed doors with all matches covered on TV and local radio? The problem is if this season isn’t finished there will be so many legal challenges the next 1 won’t start. Some interesting ideas but the way things are going we are a long way from seeing any footy what ever is decided clubs will have reason to be unhappy
Think it will be voided is my thoughts
People need to stop dying before we even think about football

was mid typing my similar post on this very subject, then took a call from me dad, so hadn't seen your post @sideshowrob until I finished typing and posted my similar one .... great minds and all that
Fools never differ!
Would we honestly want footballers tested ahead if the NHS, Police, Prison Officers and Carers who are working every day with those who are dying from this virus?
We talk about the money from Sky killing the game, with it's pampered millionaire footballers, but this would be the sickest joke going.
