Wasn't expecting anything at all, so very happy with a point and a clean sheet.

Likewise. I spent the day away from my phone so I couldn’t follow it.

Pleasantly surprised with a point. Back it up with a positive result against Wednesday and aim for a win at Vale and it feels like steps in the right direction. At this rate, 50 points would be easily enough since the bottom sides - including us - are so bad this year.

Good point and a clean sheet which is an added bonus! Second best mostly today and didn't create much but Peterborough are a dangerous outfit right now so that's one hell of a result especially considering our current form. Sheff Wed failed to win for the 5th game and are not just blowing the title but also the prospect of automatic promotion so there will be huge pressure on them next week. It will just be our luck if their injured players return for them but even so, it's a great opportunity to get something against a side that's very fragile since going 23 unbeaten. That point today also means we can't be leapfrogged come Friday evening so we wont fall into the relegation zone even if the worst happens. Let's get a full house too!

A full on team performance. Granted, a little nervy at times and, yes, some players demonstrated why they probably shouldn't be here next season but, a clean sheet and a point.
Manning was active the whole game giving instructions, directions etc and, the players responded. There was a spell, second half where the discipline faltered but, overall, a much better performance than we have seen for a lng time.

Up North (Normandie) this weekend sampling some very British weather. Pleasantly surprised to see we grabbed a point. Every little bit helps currently so well done all.

Why concerned? As bad as Murphy is, Goodrham can’t be - and isn’t - our saviour.

Manning replaced him with Smyth and it gave us a boost when we needed to manage the game.
Let's not forget that Goodrham was supposed to go out on loan this year to the Conference and it was only by fortune of Robinson panicking right from the off did he get into the first team and most of that was down to injuries at the start of the season. He's still very much a young lad thrown into the deep end whereas you'd like to think that Murphy with his experience could finally put an effort in. He must be training well for Manning to take such a big gamble today.

It's great to see Tyler and GOD get some first team action this season but to think they could cut it week in week out in League One right now is quite frankly barmy so we need to escape this fantasy Robinson has left behind and focus on getting the best out of what we've got left.

Happy with the point and a clean sheet, phew the Sheff Wednesday game has to be a big crowd and get behind the boys. In Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, sinking a few cold ones. COYY's

To be honest our right hand side is a bit of a disaster zone. McGuane had a really good game today and he needed to to compensate for everything we lacked at both ends down that side.

I think with Murphy, you have to start somewhere. He doesn’t help himself but Manning is obviously convinced his head is in the right place or at least could be with time. So I suppose the only way you ever unlock the player within is to give him a fresh start. His performance was OK but definitely not full of commitment. But that may come as his relationship develops with Manning and he plays regular games. He needs to make himself available for these remaining games and invest himself in the challenge to get back on track.

In fairness, if Sam Long has the ball I wouldn’t bother finding space either as it’s either going out for a throw or down the throat of an opposing player.

Up front is still a major worry. To see your striker go through on goal and fall over the ball on the edge of the box is very concerning! But again I can’t fault the kid for his engine and desire. Tyler Smith may have a big role to play yet.

Silly to have a whinge about anything really though. Fantastic point and as I said earlier and the defence will have renewed belief in each other. Need the forwards to find that bit of magic now but that’s an encouraging performance & the right result.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but i genuinely felt like we were never going to conceed despite the 8 mins extra time. Clarke Harris didn’t have a sniff other than a weak over head kick.

Very organised out of possession…. A breath of fresh air, whatever now happens this season I’m confident for next.

We were headless for last 3 months under Robinson.

Players aren’t giving up yet!

That was so much more organised. We're stil not very good, but at least everyone looked like they knew what they were supposed to be doing. Long is a very limited player, and his distribution tends to put us under immediate pressure. An obvious weak link. I think (?) Smyth has played right back. I'd much rather see him there. Criticism of Murphy unfair imo. He put in a shift. But he's certainly not 'the best player in L1'. We've probably just about got enough to get us over the line. 45 points should be enough, especially with our goal difference. I liked LM's RadOx interview. Very clear and logical and appeared to have no interest in showing off. All of which makes a very pleasant change.

Problem is 50 points is cuckoo land. I think we need another 10 which is going to be hard but we can just do it

It’s so refreshing at long last to have an adult in charge of the playing side. I can now listen to the post match interviews without cringing at the overblown emotive, self promotion bullshit. There are elements of Appleton with Manning, it’s all about the team, the process and what’s needed to try and retain our league one status. Nothing else matters.

I‘d have taken a point before the game, hopefully it’s something we can now build on. It was important to get something from today’s game as it shows the players that Manning knows what he doing, the belief from the players in Manning and his process will be vital to our survival. However there’s still a lot to do, Manning has been left a shocking mess to sort out.
