EPL final day of the Season

City just can't do it in Europe which Pep really needs to do although his/City's recent domestic record is fantastic.
They seem able to boss the Premier League so it's a bit ironic that it was Liverpool and Spurs that knocked them out of Europe the last 2 seasons.

Incredible battle between them and City when Liverpool finished on 8 straight wins. Whoever won would have fully deserved it but Man City getting 4 points out of their 2 games with Liverpool was probably the difference.

The last two years in Europe they have lost to Liverpool and Spurs, which is slightly strange considering they have been so domestically dominant they will probably take 5 out of 6 trophies. Just shows the champions league is very much a cup competition and the best team doesn’t always win.

29 years and counting for Liverpool, and as each year goes by, it'll hurt just a little more that they seem to lose their nerve at some point in the season. 7 points clear and a chance to beat City to 10 clear. If Spurs invest this summer, it could get tricky for them.

I'm pleased for City. Under Guardiola, they are relentless and have really shown up the other side of the city with a style and work ethic over trophy player signings. If only they could crack Europe.

It would go on for years!

If doesn’t tend to stop L’Pool fans going all misty eyed. Even second place finishes yield s**t books like this.
