the one the media often refer to as the richest game in the world, this season its

Coventry v Luton

the former have spent some seasons down in the lower leagues, while the latter, like we did, spent a few seasons at non league level. Both Coventry and Luton have reached the championship play-off final without the bonus of any parachute payments to help pay their way to the PL . Personally, I don't much care for either club, though out of the choice of those two I'd prefer Coventry City to go up, as I really don't like Luton Town FC.

I work in Luton and it was remarkable how quickly their ticket allocation went, though the disappointing seasons that arsenal and Liverpool are having may have helped.

Promotion will secure the building of their new stadium, promotion for Coventry will be a fine reward for Mark robins' low profile management of a club in turmoil

Given that there are only a few select clubs that I dislike as much as Luton, let's hope Coventry go up.

Either of them will be down again the next year mind you.
