As an experiment, I just backed MApp @ 3/1. I tried to put £50 on and it restricted my bet to £10.

He shortened to 2/1 on the back of £10.

There is nothing to this market.
Placed £5 on Leam Richardson at 33/1.
Immediately dropped to 10/1.

That really shows how this market works.
Betvictor laughing their way to the bank here, taking us all for fools 🤣

Cheltenham and MK currently losing is good news for us (and whoever takes over). Fingers crossed neither of them gets anything tonight.
MK pinch a point late on at Lincoln, but doesn’t really do much damage. Cheltenham lose at Derby.

Looking up the way, Portsmouth go potty and bang three past Bolton in less than 15 minutes. Mousinho averaging almost two points per game there. Seventeen from nine in charge. Sigh.

How we are above these sides considering how poor we’ve been this season shows how ridiculously weak this division is this season. Last season I reckoon we would have been adrift at the bottom with our results.
No way.
5Th from bottom had just 40 points just season.
Last season the bottom teams were probably worse than this seasons

I know it’s been said before, but can’t help myself. The board messed up in so many ways delaying the inevitable sacking of Robinson. Mous would defo have taken it on an interim basis, a selection of Pompey tweets from tonight..

Talking about Clotet, what ever happened to his “mate” Garry Monk??
There was some story a while ago that he’d been involved in dodgy dealings, never heard any more about it, so don't know if that has but a hurdle in his way for applying for jobs.

Out of interest, why is there so much animosity towards Fowler ? I don’t know whether he’s a capable coach or not so cant really say what he’s like. But to say stuff like ‘F*ck off Fowler‘ just seems a bit weird - on what basis does he deserve that ? I’m aware he’s a mate of Robinson but how immature, childish and small time would that be to discount someone on the basis he’s friends with the ex manager, proper playground stuff.

Who gives a s**t whether he's mates with Robinson, it’s so pathetic.
Exactly my thoughts, weird bunch some on here!

Need to get their own house in order and create an atmosphere occasionally at home games!

The new manager bounce. Their bubble will burst and I'm not sure he's got the managerial experience to deal with that or the immense pressure he's under there.

Stated my reasons, he’s got his own academy & I wouldn’t want someone who’s sole focus isn’t Oxford United Football Club. Don’t need someone who has outside interests that could cloud his judgement or affect him doing his job properly.

Keep an open mind through, you’ve judged him when you or most don’t know the full scenario

For R.Fowler if he hadn't been involved in ' occasional coaching ' with us , his Son and others from his academy seem to have caused a bit of animosity with various rumours going around then I'd have said he had a better chance.
We have the opportunity to start something here in line with new Stadium and improving the standing of the club.
Let's not put a dampener on it with a new manager that divides the fan base .
For me seeing how well Mous has started , McKenna at Ipswich, Critchley Blackpool I'd love to see the brave appointment of Des Buckingham myself . Failing that Apps will have the fan base 100% behind him and the feel good factor will be back.

No wonder we’re called the yellows when so many on here wet themselves when they see some numbers move around on a betting website. Get a grip, you lot.

Just a thought - the likes of Wilder, Critchley and Appleton will be in receipt of severance packages from their previous clubs. If they get employed again, they’ll forgo those. Sure, a nice fat contract for 3.5 years from us is better in the long run than living off the severance pay but sign up with us and there’s a very real chance that their first full season would be in League 2. I can’t see any of them signing up for that with ifs and buts hanging over us.
