Sky have said twice that this is our first pre-season game, extremely impressive performance in that case.

SKY are talking a**e. Eddie Gray was their "at the man commentator". Leeds fans nr in SSU in front of the granty were having kittens. I guess he is a living legend, like Garry Smart.

I’m not sure who the bloke in the number 20 shirt is but he’s not the 2017/18 Jon Obika. Pressing, creating chances, winning headers! Headers! I was very critical of him last season, but he’s visibly leaner and seems much fitter. Credit to him.

Seemed vulnerable down our right. Chances created and goals scored working down that side.

Hall terrorised them in the first half. Hope he’s okay because he got bashed about quite a lot. Looked very sharp.

I told you Big John would come good. "The Beak's on Fire" !!!!

actually it seems the thicky twins are commentating! ...apparantly OUFC are kicking from 'left to right' ffs ... rad ox really should give these people a bit of training before imposing them on us!

Why were Radio Oxford interviewing a Leeds player post match?

Why was there no post match interview with Robbo?

The whole show was poor last night to say the least.

I think Cam Norman got roasted in the second half. IMO they targeted him. Leeds technical ability was impressive as a unit, in Second half. So, was their incredible support. I had Leeds all round me in the SSU.

Yes but if you lived in a bleak hovel of a city in the grim op narth then you’d want to get out whenever you could too. Especially to the beautiful city of Oxford ;-)
They probably popped over to university park after the game and had a quick cup of tea and a picnic.

Give me a "bleak hovel" where people are real, people are friendly, people have passion for their team and city any day!!

Focusing on the positives ? some of the U’s attacking play was excellent last night.

A fully fit Robbie Hall will be a major boost this season.

Having just watched KR speak on ifollow then I think it’s fair to say he wasn’t too happy last night. I think certain players managed to play their way out of the starting 11 against Barnsley.
He didn’t seem that complimentary of Leeds either.

Our fan's on the whole don't show much passion apart from a hardcore, having no songs does not help either!

Leeds as a city is how many time more bigger than Oxford, they have proper football heritage through the 70's etc.
I would expect last night the majority of their fans came from outside Leeds like most big supported clubs.

You are right about the passion, but comparing a hardcore fan base of ours of say 5000 against one of the best travelling clubs in the country in a midweek friendly is harsh, we will never be that big time club with a huge fanbase around the world, but on our day we can do passion.

I was in the SSU and there was aLeeds fan from BBL near me. Good for a bit of p!ss taking. There were plenty of empty seats in their part of the ground so I don’t get why some of them were in our stand.

I would say about 1800 of our hardcore support show real passion, others just sit moan and whine...

Each to their own but I think Robyn Cowen is an excellent broadcaster and very knowledgable.

Some technical issues last night as they alluded to during the show but she’s very professional and not a surprise that she picks up quite a lot of national work for the BBC.
