Downing Street was having in person leaving parties when the rest of the population couldn't see loved ones who were leaving them (i.e dying).

Says it all really.
I actually reckon Essex has a bet on at Conservative Home to see who can be the last Tory standing, still defending Boris and the activities at No10.

C'mon @Essexyellows - what's the wager worth  :ROFLMAO:

Situation 1 - people who had to were working together.

Situation 2 - hospitals were, and in some cases still are, mitigating risk to staff, patients, and the public by reducing interactions and exposure.

Whilst it was nowhere near ideal those were the practicalities and realities.

It is incomprehensible to me that someone could still defend this?! They went to the Downing Street basement, not an office, drank copious amounts of alcohol, they better bloody not be doing this while working, and danced the night away until the early hours of the morning, certainly not a work activity. They PARTIED. I couldn't give a flying f**k if they had been working together all day, if the staff at my local Tesco, who let's be honest deserved the opportunity to party, had gone round one of the workers houses after work and partied they would have been fired and it would have been seen as a scandal. So why is it ok for Boris and his mates to do it?

The only reality here is that a poor old woman lost her husband of several decades and had to sit alone at his funeral within hours of Boris and his mates strutting their stuff to Dancing Queen. It's a complete and utter shameful disgrace and to say it is anything but is to be completely blinded by bullshit political bias.

I wouldn't be at all surprised that when Boris trudges off to the Palace to offer his resignation that Liz turns around and kicks him square in the balls.

I'm sure there's plenty of bereaved families that would like to do the same.

But if he goes and we get a new leader who turns things around from the mess weā€™re in then my vote will return.
But if he goes and the same trajectory is followed I wonā€™t vote until the manifest is changed for the better.
The Tories and Boris have backed themselves into such a huge hole over Brexit in particular, itā€™s difficult to see how they can change tact. Theyā€™ve been making claims and promises left right and centre that are simply impossible to deliver.

They will have to continue to follow the same trajectory unless they face up to some of the realities. But doing so will not win support from the Right of the party and will haemorrhage votes to the latest Farage Party.

Iā€™m not sure the Tory party can really recover.

I'm pretty sure she had someone to do that for her.

And now Liz Truss is telling people they need to move on :ROFLMAO:

Nobody's stopping you Liz - the exit is right behind you!

I mean, is she SERIOUSLY the best the Tories have to offer??

OH.MY.DAYS :ROFLMAO:
