Carabao Cup draw

Meh x 100,000,000,000
To be honest at this stage of the cup, there are not that many potential draws for a weekday match that are not meh. Home draw against Wimbledon is pretty winnable which is the main thing. Their fans are probably going meh too!

Indeed,. I'd love to be able attend this game.

Not bothered about the scheduling, first and foremost because they have resisted the opportunity to cancel it altogether!
Also by cramming in the games early on, then gets them done and out of the way, which relieves pressure later on.
This will be a unique season, so we should perhaps give the authorities a break as they try to get everything covered..

It can do if you have goal alert notification set up though :sneaky:

Yes when ever I watch on ifollow. I turn my phone off for this reason. Ifollow can be a bit hit and miss at times, need a fast Internet service to stream it without buthering.

Guess I should consider maybe sprinkling amphetamine on the feed for the hamsters, that power my internet service via their exercise wheels, on matchdays for the first month or so of the season? :sneaky:;)

Yo do say some funny things.

Had very few problems with iFollow last season. about 60 seconds behind real time which gives me time to get my YYYEEESSS posted and watch the screen very carefully to see the goal.

Fa cup - replays scrapped.
Carabao cup - no two legged semi finals
EFL trophy - going ahead as normal!

How does that make sense?

Oh and look at the way the EFL have handled the situations at Wigan, Sheffield Wednesday, Bury, Macclesfield etc.

They do not deserve a break!

Don't forget all the issues with Charlton and their ownership, being under a transfer embargo yet they are being allowed to pay transfer fees/considerable wages for players (Connor Washington and Alex Gilbey) with rumours of at least 1 more.

According to the EFL website https://www.efl.com/broadcast-schedule/ there's no chance of this being shown on iFollow as the game is both at a blacked out time (Saturday afternoon) and they are not showing any Carabao Cup matches at all.

I'm wondering what I'm going to get for my new £140 subscription.

This year's ST blurb said that we would get free iFollow passes if matches had to be played behind closed doors.
I wonder whether those will be individual passes for individual matches or will we just get a season-long pass? in which case we will be able to watch the League Cup matches as well, as they will be behind closed doors?
Update I had this morning was that season ticket holders will get individual match passes to league matches where no supporters are allowed into the ground. The club are in discussions to try and get all other matches covered as well. (including pre-season friendlies) I cannot see this going very well as season tickets do not cover these other games. However, it might be feasible to have, much like the normal match ticket, a preferential system in place allowing season ticket holders to purchase a match pass at reasonable rate. (I recall a game or two last season where we could watch for a fiver?)
