Good news. A sign of planning for the future, very good news.
'Long term deal'.James Golding Signs New Deal
Oxford United are pleased to announce that defender James Golding has signed a new long-term deal with the club.www.oufc.co.uk
New contract for Golding
what he said ^^Congratulations to him.
Just hope we can get GO'D and TG on new long term deals.
Maidenhead are 4th from bottom in the NL.
Recalled from loan at Dartford and goes straight out to Maidenhead Utd.
Don’t know anything about either side, but it’s a move up from NLS to NL, so presumably means he’s been doing well.
What position did he play in?Watched him put in a solid performance in a 2-1 away win at Solihull Moors on Saturday.
Maidenhead Utd have won last 3 so seems he is having a positive effect on their recent performances.
Looked to me he is progressing nicely and will be interesting to see what the new manager feels about him.
Looked like left sided centre half and left side of a 3 when reverting to a 5.What position did he play in?
He seems to have played in 3 or 4 positions since he has been there.
Hopefully the Maidenhead manager doesn’t lose his mind and start playing him as a right wing back.Looked like left sided centre half and left side of a 3 when reverting to a 5.
He had license to come out with the ball and also got forward a lot for set plays.
Box to box midfielder was the plan. Apparently he played there in training and was '"unbelievable".Hopefully the Maidenhead manager doesn’t lose his mind and start playing him as a right wing back.
Unbelievable is definitely the word.Box to box midfielder was the plan. Apparently he played there in training and was '"unbelievable".
Everyone is really a right wingback, it's just some don't realise it.Hopefully the Maidenhead manager doesn’t lose his mind and start playing him as a right wing back.
The real right wingback was the friends we made along the way, or something.Everyone is really a right wingback, it's just some don't realise it.
It's a decent standard of football and Maidenhead seem to have improved since Golding went there.Looked like left sided centre half and left side of a 3 when reverting to a 5.
He had license to come out with the ball and also got forward a lot for set plays.
If you look around the room and don’t see a right wingback then you are the right wingback…The real right wingback was the friends we made along the way, or something.
Am I wrong or is he known for playing RB? Apologies if I'm ruining a jokeHopefully the Maidenhead manager doesn’t lose his mind and start playing him as a right wing back.
