I'd give Ben Watt a go over Hanson at right back.
K now I am really struggling if he's injured! Hanson at right back maybe (jesus christ)

We won't lose them. Even if we did there's more than enough football to be played to recover.Resilience and character doesn't win you games. Lose the next games and we will be in the bottom half of table and well adrift of the top 6.
Have you ever watched him play?I'd give Ben Watt a go over Hanson at right back.

What happens when he makes the second misplaced passIf we play and if, as seems likely, Hanson is in the starting lineup, it would probably be useful to support the lad rather than proclaim that he's "f*****g s**t" at the first misplaced pass.....
What about Agyei at right back and Hanson centre forward? Karl does love a good tinker!!
Don’t worry, most of the haters won’t be thereIf we play and if, as seems likely, Hanson is in the starting lineup, it would probably be useful to support the lad rather than proclaim that he's "fucking shit" at the first misplaced pass.....
I'd be more inclined to go for Tracey Thorn at right back rather than Hanson (one for you 80s music fans there!).I'd give Ben Watt a go over Hanson at right back.
I remember Paul Warhurst was a centre half, got told to play as a forward, and couldn’t stop scoring.
What fixture pile-up? If we don't play any other Tuesday night games in December than the planned Donny one and if we also don't play midweek around Easter given we already have a Monday/Friday game, then from January 1st to season end, there are 11 (yes 11) available Tuesday nights. My opinion is that if we CAN play the game on Tuesday (ie Plumley is out of isolation - don’t quite understand the rules around whether that could happen - or we sign an emergency keeper) then we should play it.
If the shoe were on the other foot we’d be expecting Fleetwood to put a team out and play the game, rather than cancel and contribute to a fixture pile-up for us. Clearly our chances of winning would be impacted - but principles and doing the ‘right’ thing are important. The ‘right’ thing is to play - assuming we can get a team together.
I do think it hinges on how many more (if any) are flagged as positive cases in the next round of testing. As debate in this thread has demonstrated, we’ve barely got a defence as it is. Right now I’d suggest a defence of Hanson/Long/McNally/Seddon is passable. Clearly not great - but passable. Our midfield is still pretty strong, and we have enough options to do SOMETHING up front. If it gets to the stage where we’re having to field youth teamers across most of the back four (e.g if we lose one or two more from Long, Seddon and McNally) - then I suspect the game has to go. Going back to the ‘right’ thing, I’m not sure it’s in the best interest of sporting integrity to expect us to field our kids across the majority of the defence…
Sunderland has already been rearranged for Saturday 4th December. What fixture pile-up? So far we have Sunderland and Wigan (a) and probably Fleetwood to fit into those 11 slots.
We are out of all the cups so no more to arrange there.

True - I was including that in case it doesn't happen given our Covid cases but assuming it does take place on 4 December, there's even less of an issue.Sunderland has already been rearranged for Saturday 4th December.
