I Follow in California for me. We are so bloody unpredictable, but I really think that Tuesday will have given the squad that bit of confidence. May regret this but I’m going for three nil for those precious three points.
Current Brighton and Spanish International ‘keeper Robert Sánchez was on the bench for FGR that cold November evening.
Easty, Browney, Cam, Longy, James Henry and Jack Stevens remain on the U’s payroll.
Think Reece Brown is back with FGR after moving away.
I think at this stage we have to be optimistic. Tuesday night was brilliant (I'm still riding the high off it now). Play like we did then and we'll be fine.
I’ll also be at the beer fest Kip. Be good to say hello in person.
Of course this post is just playing into FoSB’s hands. ‘Bloody drunks the lot of ‘em! They’ll be urinating in people’s front gardens all the way home!!’
Weirdly, ever since LM has come in, I've seen enough in our setup/performances etc to remain confident/optimistic/hopeful that we will keep our heads above the surface and do enougoh to stay up....
... however, now that we've finally gone and won a game, I'm more nervous than at any other point that we will now relax, think the job is done, take our eye off the ball, fail to get the result today and get caught!!!
I said in the week that I hope we haven't used up all our goals for the rest of the season in that one game, so now just hoping for a couple more today, preferably early, and that other results mean it is done and dusted today
Birmingham based Tom Reeves is the man in the middle at the Bolt New Lawn this afternoon.
Reeves is in his second season on the EFL list and has refereed 35 matches this season issuing 113 yellow cards and four reds.
His last U’s fixture was the 1-0 home win over Cambridge last August. His last FGR match was the 1-0 home Derby win over Cheltenham
last December.
