EFL 25/03/2023 - Today's League One Fixtures

We are getting nothing ourselves from the next two, Port Vale away on Easter Monday will be massive though, can’t rely on the none of the bottom four to pick up points for the rest of the season.

Morecambe score but after the whistle had gone for a foul. Pity.

We need to accept that we are aiming for 20th place now. We’ve got one spot to shoot for, so MK beating Morecambe is arguably much better than both of them getting a point.

We are in a three team mini league with Accrington and Morecambe, where the winner stays up and the other two go down.

Gone from 12% to be relegated to 10% on fivethirtyeight as a result of today's matches. I want some of what they are drinking!

I think todays results should take Morecambe out of the equation really. Accrington getting absolutely stuffed by a mid table side isn't particularly inspiring either. MK Dons winning doesn't look ideal on the face of it but they've put together a few results now and will probably get themselves safe. I'd rather be only one place outside the relegation zone but with a bigger points buffer than a couple of places outside with a few teams in striking distance.

I'd really rather we were competing at the other end of the table but here we are.

3 1-0 wins in a row for MK.

Amazing what happens when you keep clean sheets.

And when you play Cambridge, Accrington & Morecambe back-to-back-to-back!

They did better than we did, but I don't think MKD have suddenly become a great side. They've just taken advantage of the easy part of their fixture list.

We beat Ipswich so anything is possible and LM has had an extra week to work with the players.

Accrington don’t appear to have a game next weekend, which makes it our game in hand so we are probably not going to profit from it.

Then the following weekend they play Port Vale Friday and we play Wednesday, then on the Monday we play Vale and they play Wednesday, they are at home to Port Vale while we are away but if we can better how they do against them that would be a big result.

Looking at Morecambes next 3 games and the fact they have already played 39 then I reckon they are doomed.

We need to make sure we do the same when we play Cheltenham, Forest Green and Accrington.
