I think we will keep a clean sheet I think we will score at least two I think one of their players will be sent off I can 100% guarantee Krob will waffle on in his interview after the game

Eastwood
Long Moore Findlay Brown
Wildschut Brannagan McGuane Fleming
Joseph O’Donkor

Muck and nettles. Jumpers for goalposts. Spirit of Mad Dog.

If we don’t win we’ll take the ball home.

Oxford United 2 Bristol Rovers 0.
(Yes, we will keep a clean sheet.)

We could really do with Mousiniho and Taylor either playing or in and around the matchday squad.
A game for experienced players.

Get as many of them onto the pitch as you can and flood the midfield. 3-5-2.

We need some ‘experienced heads’ on the pitch, therefore Baldock, Henry, Findlay, Long all need to be involved.

A physical XI

Eastwood
Long Moore Findlay Brown
McGuane Brannagan
Joseph Browne Wildschut
O’Donkor

Browne as a 10? Surely not. He's shown time and time again he's very wasteful when played there as he's a poor decision maker. Constantly wants to beat another man or smash one in from 25 yards. He needs to be out wide where he only needs to think about beating his man and getting the ball across.

The 3 behind O’Donkor would be fluid without set positions. All 3 could rotate.

No real change from my thoughts after Cambridge. But I would play G’OD purely as he’s the only one at the club finding the net regularly at some level of the game. But seems even he could be on KR’s naughty list given his lack of involvement, who knows. If not included on Saturday I think he’s another we can cross off.

CAM a tough choice. Either one of those would offer something for us. Not a difficult decision to drop Joseph or Smith as both are ineffective, currently, so time to try something else.

Think we all know Bodin is straight back in this team even with a stretcher strapped to his back.

I think playing God in the youth team was a good idea by someone - he gets minutes, he gets goals, he gets to see how his game has improved, he gets confidence - while all the time his teammates get to benefit from having him in the side, win games, progress in the cup and see where their careers could go next.

I very much doubt this one is a KR fallout

Well, I’ve been far too optimistic with my predictions (I thought we’d manage a draw at Cambridge 🙄 ) so …. Back to reality. We will lose again and the ostriches will be out in force maintaining we’ve improved, we’ll never get relegated and - anyway, Hey, aren’t there four teams below us who are worse ….so we’re safe with Robinson.
The man himself will, of course insist he’s the right person to progress the club. Kevin will phone into Radox and agree, and we’ll go on as we were.

Sliding into relegation.

Footnote: NO, A DRAW IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
