Just had the hockey on in the background. One of the players tapped the ball away when an infringement was given. Immediately given a green card and 2 minutes off the pitch, she ran straight off without arguing and making it a stronger card.
Perhaps we should transfer that to footie and we’d get to see more minutes in play. Suspect though with the childish arguing from players it’d take longer than 2 mins to get the player off the pitch and we’d end up seeing less than ever!

Eastwood
Long Moore Findlay Brown
McGuane Brannagan
Jones Browne Murphy
Taylor

Subs: Stevens, Golding, Seddon, Gorrin, Henry, Bodin, O’Donkor

That’s the team I expect will start too. If so then I’m hopeful of a win.

Overall a good team however a bit harsh on Bodin after he played pretty well?

Much as I like that team it leaves no pace on the bench. I would start Bodin in place of Jones.

Just under 200 added over the last 24 hours, so tickets are not exactly flying out of the door. Still think we're headed for about 8,500.
Another 200 sales over the last 24 hours, although the club have added in just under 50 seats to Block 12 (Directors Box), so actual sales have been about 250.

This leaves us a full day ahead of sales for last season's opener verses Charlton. I'm still hoping we'll make 8,500 but it may be a couple of hundred below, depending on how many Cambridge bring. Home sales should be 300/500 up on the Charlton game.

Oh, and I see they're bringing a f*****g drum. That should keep a few hundred away!!!

Bring on a "drum off"I say!

McGinty in goal although Eastwood played well at Derby, he hasnt signed to not be in the squad

Bate signing changes things up a bit (and makes our bench look immediately stronger).

Assume he's match fit and will go straight into the side (doubt Leeds would be loaning him to us if it wasn't to play regularly).

So maybe:

Eastwood
Long Moore Findlay Brown
McGuane
Cam Bate
Murphy Browne
Taylor

Subs: Stevens, Golding, Seddon, Gorrin, Henry, Bodin, Jones

Hey, has anyone noticed that we don't have much defensive cover on the bench? Could use an out-and-out striker there, too. Good to see we finally have some options on the wing, though.
