We’re all getting leaky nipples over a bloody second round FA Cup game, in which we played a second strong side, simply because we want to beat Wigan at the weekend; in a game that actually matters! Losing is never good, but of the two, I know which one i’d rather lose..

No proper defensive cover, now Gorrin is out no real DM, too heavy with wingers and no striking cover for Taylor. That is down to KR.

Me too.

Not so much about the cup for me but the manner of the capitulation.

When you are 3-1 up against any oppo with 15 minutes to go, you have to be more savvy. That is the real disappointment for me.

You lose, so be it, s**t happens. But this capitulation is a shocker.

With our lack of depth in key areas it's probably overall a good thing to go out.

We seriously need some more firepower upfront in January. Agyei is a great bloke but we might as well play my nan up front for 45 minutes if we're resting Taylor again. He's just not a goalscorer.

As for the defence, you do feel we need a third experienced CB because it's a tall order relying on Mous who's basically a player manager and McNally who's having his first season in England.

We are definitely short in the defense department but every week that goes bywe are closer to January and definitely a few more players. Another striker at least and more defenders . Don't you just love football Now watch rivers win the next round and draw Utd.

May as well sack him anyway then and employ someone for a fiver a week and save a good amount of money then if things like consistently throwing away leads aren’t impacted by the guy who picks the team and tactics

Tonight is a perfect demonstration of what we have said for the last couple of seasons with regards to full back (if not defensive) cover. Seddon is legless and because we have no cover for him, we change to a system that we are not accustomed to playing.

That being said, we shouldn't go over the top because it is only one result but in January, we MUST add defensive reinforcements if we want our challenge at the top end of the table to be sustained.
