Nice back peddling. You might however qualify how your 'opinion' is informed? Throwing around terms like 'sociopath' is disrespectful and frankly unwarranted. You have the right to free speech of course, but with rights come responsibility Thank you for correcting the spelling error.
youre welcome, re spelling

Turning up late for a press conference you have called is disrespectful. Choosing not to answer direct questions at said press conference is disrespectful, a giving your word (new manager 'in 2 days), at a press conference, then not delivering is disrespectful.

Respect is earned. Tiger has a way to go to earn some respect from me.

Backpeddling? you should see what Ive mastered on an electrically powered self-balancing unicycle

I doubt very much that he will feel terribly inclined to earn 'your' respect. Citing his being late, his not answering certain questions, and not being able to appoint a manager within the time he had hoped, are hardly evidence of poor character when there are likely to be reasonable expectations for all of these things. The fact that you are not able (it seems) to think a little more broadly and consider the wider context is a reflection on you, not him. I would suggest that you suspend your harsh judgement until there is tangible evidence that he is the character you portray him as. Incidentally, there are numerous disorders characterised by inflexible thinking and poor impulse control, not that I am offering an 'opinion'.

Oh and by the way 'Ive mastered' is usually written I've mastered.

So Craig Bellamy is not going to be our manager. Good !
Perhaps Tiger wants an experienced manager.

Time indeed will tell re Tiger

Like I said, it was disrespectful to OUFC fanbase, not just me, to arrive an hour late for his own press conference. And disrespectful to BBC radio Oxford who had scheduled the press conference into their live programming, and disrespectful to all the journalists invited to his press conference by turning up an hour LATE
Ditto his disrespectful handling of questions asked of him, at his press conference, by evading the questions

maybe there were, as you say, individually subject to logical explanation, however, viewed together, as they were presented together, combined, as in 'presented' at more or less the same time, was to me, very disrespectful.

Over time I have become suspicious, skeptical and cynical of most things, especially individuals who come across as talking loud but saying nothing. As things stand, 3 days or so into Tiger's tenure I'm very concerned as to the future well being of OUFC. I really hope I'm proved wrong, but so far, due to his combination of calamitous catastrophes, I am very concerned.

Regarding Tiger not being inclined to earn my respect, that's fine by me. However, if by his actions, or lack of them, he fails to win the respect of the majority of OUFC fanbase (including perhaps, even you @gofish2 ), where will our owner find himself then?

Time will tell, and I've got a feeling the time frame that tells all is likely to be sooner rather than later.

Do u not agree then sarge ? Being a bit late for a press conference and spending a extra few days to get the right manager in the grand scheme of things are pretty insignificant things
Well certainly not to go to the effort to tell the new owner after 3 days to f#ck off and label him a sociopath.

Sarge, I hope you aren’t assuming you’re talking on behalf of the majority of the OUFC fan base?

not in the slightest @CheltenhamYellow I speak for me, voicing my own views :)

re-read said post ...I'm naturally suspicious, cynical and skeptical of many things and many individuals me

I was responding to gofish2 who commented re a posting interchange we were having, his comment was "I doubt very much that he will feel terribly inclined to earn 'your' respect"
my reply to which was :- Regarding Tiger not being inclined to earn my respect, that's fine by me. However, if by his actions, or lack of them, he fails to win the respect of the majority of OUFC fanbase (including perhaps, even you @gofish2 ), where will our owner find himself then?

hope that clarifies?

Anyway never mind all this, where the f**k is everyone, I’ve just driven for 2 hours to court place farm, and I’m sat here in the dark on my own. Snow is building up against the door, if this polar vortex gets any worse I’m going to have to start burning city’s trophy cabinet, and secret Oxvox notes including nda’s.

I’ve asked who the next manager will be. All I keep hearing is whooooooooo. So either the winds getting up, tiger is avoiding answering or it’s going to be peter capaldi
Love the fact that Surreal Madrid has liked this ?

Owen Coyle has just resigned from Ross County. Looking for a job back in England. Also talk on internet land of him linking up somewhere with Southport Manager Kevin Davies. Slightly worried....

Just catching up on this thread and some people really need to get a grip. It reminds me of the Self Righteous Brothers on Harry Enfield who wind themselves up into a furious rage over imagined insults or humiliation.
This takeover is nonsense. We all know it. But we're all being too polite to say it. Based on what I have seen and heard so far (my opinion I should say) I wouldn't have Tiger running my local pub. He appears utterly clueless and totally unprofessional. Trust me, I know what good looks like (in a business context) and it doesn't look like this bloke. Have to say I am vvv disappointed in Eales that he has sold out to someone of this calibre. It's a great shame. This bloke will drive us into the ground. At vv best, it has every appearance of a gigantic vanity project. All the guff about wanting to give team talks? It doesn't come from nowhere. Did you ever hear that about Eales? Or Lenagan? Or (much though I loathe the man) Kassam? Nope. This takeover is a 24 carat disaster.
