So who should we approach or Interview ?

If our first and second choice were not possible and maybe 3/4/5th choice not available in that window then probably better than bringing in someone for the sake of it. But probably should have recalled hemmings, or got a loan just for numbers as much as anything.
I agree with you, you do not go Down the list till you find an available striker, so I hope who ever comes in has the finance available and targets as I Hope what we have are released at the end of the season.

He has had money and they’re punching well about be their weight in response to their income, he strengthend in January so his managerial skills can’t be as competent as you are saying and as has been pointed out sacked from his 3 previous positions, a bit like fatty Evans havemonet to play with and do well and that’s that.

who do you want as next manager?

If we don't have a manager before the end of the day then its inexcusable in my opinion.

Enough time to interview candidates and make a decision.

Just can’t see us appointing anyone anytime soon.

Dragged on to long now! DE and the board have had more than enough time to inverview a number of candidates, and select who they feel is the right person to steer us to a safe number of points. Then has all summer to re build something exciting for next season, and with sufficient funds available I’d say that’s a given.

I’m dissapointed with the lack of communication to the fans from our chairman.

4 weeks... 4 bleddy weeks. Utterly ridiculous and a smack in the face to the fans. Wouldn't feel half as bad if they were in anyway communicating saying what progress has been made. Just a little statement or radio appearance wouldn't of been hard. But absolutely naff all is a joke.

3 have decided against being part of our vision...2 should be spoken with again in the next 2 days and a 3rd we are waiting to confirm his flight over here.
Our number one choice is amongst them
We are open to listen to any potential investors, we have had enquiries but as yet we are not in a position to comment further.

A further statement from Gullibles travels will follow at 7pm

The longer we are without a manger and the fact we’ve dropped 15 points out of 18 we need someone in to steady the ship, because at the moment I cannot see where our next points are coming from which will lead the relegation and if Eales snholdimg out for the best price,!with relegation we won’t be worth anywhere what he wants.

i say we'll get a minimum of 13 more pts...you wonder where pts will come from, so with 9 needed for the magical 50 i'll give you £10 for every pt below 9 and you give me £10 for every pt above 9 Deal ?

Sorry, wasn't at the game - so who was announced as the new owner/chairman/manager/teaboy?

I begin to wonder whether our Chairman is that bothered about whether we get relegated or not. If he can't find the right investment to take the club forward which appears to be the case then running a League 2 club is going to be cheaper than a League 1 club. The lack of any communication from him; board members or the MD for some weeks now is unacceptable. The man has gone from hero to zero and assuming he turns up at the fans forum on March 1st, which I doubt, he has some difficult questions to answer. At the end of the day though he owns the club and it's his money that has taken us to where we are but why oh why does a man who emphasised the importance of communication when he first took over now behave like a monk who's taken a vow of silience? The lack of leadership that he; the Board and the MD are currently displaying is deeply disrespectful to the fans; the players and the staff, who I imagine haven't got a clue what's going on either.

Lose to Northampton and no new manager appointed and the fans forum will be interesting on March 1st, whether Eales turns up or not (I have my doubts), all the night before what will be a massive game against Fleetwood.

Purely guessing but I think it’s Faz while takeover/investment talks go on, it doesn’t take this long to appoint a manager in ordinary circumstances, very similar to Lenagan/Lewis/Waddock debacle.

If we go down, he won't get as much money for us. So in my opinion, it's in his interests for the club to stay up

Then why don’t they just come out and say that Faz is the new permanent new manager as opposed to ‘caretaker’? Then players would know where they stand - apart from at corners apparently... - and the supporters would all have to accept him and get behind him. This current situation is doing Faz no favours, let alone anyone else.

Lenagan; spent most of his time in Wigan, glad to step down., went silent pre-season. Lewis; gave his all on the pitch...Manager?...pass. Waddock: Signed Hylton, so thats enough for me. Off topic. Would Danny get a start today.. Many said he would not cut it in Div.1....I bet they wouldnt mind giving him a go on Saturday. Grave error by Mapp.

Yes agree windmill. Hylton is just the sort of player we need now & will no doubt he will relish coming back here next season & banging in a goal or two - oh - wait a minute, we might not be in this league next season . Luton definitely will be though!

There are worse thoughts than that to contemplate. There is another team in the play off places who could swap divisions with us if we drop
