Not sure how you can say that when he didn't give them the penalty that should have been!
I can say that because the ref was s**t he gave us nothing all night and the one big call for them he bottled it but otherwise all one of our player had to do was fart to be given a foul against

Thoughts before I hit my pit for the night.

Having watched the replay, I can see why the penalty wasn't given. For one, he didn't really give those sorts of fouls all game to either side and let a high foot in the box go on Baptiste a few mins before and Hall to be fouled constantly by Lynch. Secondly, O'Nien arguably made a big meal out of it - it looked like a dive because of the way he fell and where the ball ended. It was slightly ironic considering how generous the Ref had been to them but lucky without question.

KR erred on the subs too long - Baptiste and Hall looked done after 60 mins and had to come off because it was costing us defensively. Baptiste had a pretty bad game, but that is good for his career to have that experience. It's not all wine and roses in a players career.

We were ok today, we looked tired and slow on the ball in the 2nd half - Brannagan was a big miss both on and off the ball. It wasn't the greatest performance and we were very lucky to play a Sunderland team that didn't really create lots of chances and missed the easy ones they did. Their team looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane.

On the the way back to London, thought i would test the water on the back of those who think we should pander to the student luvvies to try and get them along. 3 of them near me so I proudly proclaimed OUFC have just qualified for the quarter finals of the league cup.

The look of disgust on their faces said it all, haha!
Yeah I’m not sure sloaney girls are into football much

Can you paste the link ...

my personal favourite (thread) is the “Congratulations Stewart Donald” thread which I’ve provided a link below for your entertainment:

Bless them!

And Wigan must have been laughing at the money they got for Will Grigg. How did ever score so many goals?

Didn’t we help pay for the pitch that Oxford City decided to let Sunderland train on?

A pretty average game to be honest topped off by the most hostile atmosphere ever experienced at the breeze block. There was no way we were going to lose the shootout. Thought our defence kept us in it; they all had great games. Fosu and Hall can only do 70 minutes and Shandon wasn’t at the races, talented but inconsistent.
Henry worked hard and Taylor always finds good positions.
Sunderland have improved under Parkinson and have a very decent midfield.
Brilliant effort by squad to get to quarter finals. We are on the move.

I thought that Sunderland looked pretty good. Their 5 in the middle worked and our midfield struggled to cope. Shandon and Henry struggled to get into the game and we were far from our best.
Sunderland hammered Shrewsbury 0 1 Saturday. They could be right up there at the end of the season but I would be a littie worried that despite having all of their strikers , they dont seen to take their chances

Sunderland will feel they were unlucky but we had chances too in a pretty frantic, end to end game. I felt oddly relaxed in the shootout, loved Mous’s pen!

Yes I thought they were pretty good, they stopped us from playing our normal game. We’ll both be up there at the end.

What a Captain Fantastic Mousinho is!

Comes on with 5 seconds left, doesn’t touch the ball, then steps up and absolutely smashes the ball past the helpless Sunderland keeper.

Love it!

And the penalty was delayed to a lost ball.

Could of been a hindrance.
