This guy seems rather complimentary about us. Not sure many Oxford fans agree with his assessment of Clotet. Yet! But either way I feel this can only be a good signing, and the last couple of Scouse centre mids we've signed haven't turned out too bad for us

looks to be a decent deep-lying midfielder, some good defensive work and lundstram-style passes in this compilation. good footwork too so maybe capable of breaking forward. doesnt seem to be much of a goalscorer though which is a bit of a shame.

Liverpool youngster Cameron Brannagan is set to complete a permanent move to Oxford United.
The midfielder is eager for regular first-team football after a frustrating 12 months and is prepared to drop down to League One in order to secure it.

Brannagan travelled to Oxford on Monday to discuss personal terms and is expected to sign a two-and-a-half year contract at the Kassam Stadium.
Liverpool will receive a fee of around £200,000 for the 21-year-old, who has been at Anfield since the age of five.
