So, Cameron Brannagan poised to sign for Oxford United. Think you'll have a good one there - exactly the sort of player who, 20 years ago, would have hung round getting 5 starts and 15 bench appearances a season before moving to a lower ranked PL club at 25. Spent four years following Gerrard around everywhere and everyone at the club is sad he hasn't trained on. Good passer with both feet, if right footed, possibly a bit lightweight but we'll see how that changes as he gets older. Not sure what formation/style you're playing at the moment, but if you need an advanced creative midfielder he could be your man.
One would think that if this deal is to be announced today then it needs to done sharpish. The team and staff will be heading for Charlton late afternoon, can’t see it being announced without Pep and media team present.
