Fantastic goal and a wonderful moment for TG and all of us.

So we never got going today - were only ever going to win that game through a set piece or moment of individual brilliance.

But bloody hell, Tyler Goodrham! If that's what he's capable of, we shouldn't be signing another winger and get the lad more game time!!

Going forwards, we need to pass the ball better and get hold of more possession in the middle of the park. All of the substitutions helped today - we got more of a foothold when Henry came on, even more so when Bate joined the fray and then obviously Goodrham won it for us.

But I think that's how we need to start - Browne, Murphy & Bodin are all great players, but if we play them all, we don't have enough in the middle of the pitch. I would be starting next week with McGuane, Cam & Bate in there.

Thought Findlay & McGuane were both very good/MOTMs for us (again). Seddon much improved, albeit perhaps because the majority of his game was pressing forward rather than being pinned back. I also thought that was a better game from Taylor - still very little in front of goal but he felt much more involved and it seemed like he was actually a nuisance to play against (versus last week when he was pretty anonymous aside from a couple of touches). Bate looked lightweight but technically very gifted during his brief cameo.

On the flip side I thought Long was very poor. Brannagan, Bodin, Browne & Murphy only showed brief glimpses of their quality.

What a special finish though! Delighted for the young lad - and the KR bundle scenes were very enjoyable!

Brief shout out for Sam Smith too, odious though he is. He was one of the best players on the park. Absolute handful all game…

Couldn't be happier for Tyler!

Great little player who has incredible talent and deserves the opportunity to really cement his place in this squad.

The talk about youth development is always subjective, but the things that will see players through is hard work, commitment, mental strength along with raw talent, and Tyler has that in spades.

(And I know that this glosses over a pretty poor team performance in general, but that doesn't matter right now!)
