Of course you can look at games where we should have played better and taken three points or even a point. Simply because it means we would be in a stronger position than we are now.
I couldn't care less about other teams or what they have won or lost, simply my team.

More news on their armed forces day, including a bomb disposal robot delivering the match ball. (will it be better than the Chopper at Shrewsbury?)

Was it Plymouth a few years back where there was a cock-up on the minutes silence and it went on for ages?

Yes, I was at that game. It was awkward. Edit: Or was it Portsmouth?

We all seem to be reasonably similar on points this past 3 games, so I guess something has to give as we start to play each other.

An exciting, squeaky bum finish to the season.

It’s great 😁
Is it great? It’s a bit too exciting. A lot better than fighting to stay up though!

This feels like a huge game. Not a must win but it’s probably a must not lose.

I think the lads will be well rested and raring to go. I’d anticipate Plymouth coming out the blocks but if we can withstand early pressure, I’m confident we’ll be able to impose ourselves on the game and nick a goal.

1-1 draw and a sold out, balloon clad away end!

Well up for this one, can't wait - travelling down there tomorrow for the weekend, hopefully see a few Ox out around the Barbican on Fri/Sat.

I'm going for another action packed 3-2 win with a last minute winner from Sykes to send the away end into raptures.

I reckon we'll be down there again in a few weeks for the play-offs too.

Throughout a season there are always games we should have won, but equally plenty where we got out of jail.

At the beginning of the season (as always) we lost points to the likes of Wimbledon, Gillingham, Cheltenham and others where we would have expected more. But since then we snatched wins against the likes of Sheff Wed, Pompey, Shrewsbury and the draw against Ipswich when we could have come back empty handed.

There's little point in looking at individual games and asking "what if". You run it out over 46 games and see where that leaves us. And the fact that we're currently 5th overall and 3rd in the form table suggests that we're not doing too bad!

Agree with that, what it does show though is that win just one of those games we so called threw away then how massive would three extra points be now ! Just show that every game, number 1 to number 46, is massive in the context of a promotion push.

Yes looking back it was a mistake to lose at Wimbledon and Cheltenham.

I've switched into emotionally immature desperation for the rest of the season.
I really really really really really really hope we win. Plllllllleeeeeeease.

Oh I'm like that every week. I'm considering switching to a mature, philosophical 'what will be will be and we've had a great season anyway' approach.

Eastwood
Long ... McNally ... Brown
Sykes ................ Kane ................ Williams
Bodin ................ Brannagan
Taylor .... Whyte

Maybe replace Williams with Seddon who you would hope would be better defensively than Williams. McGuane in for Bodin if he's not fully fit.

Bench: Stevens, McGuane, Holland, Winnall, Forde, Seddon, Mousinho.
