General New Stadium Plans - Stratfield Brake

Well as I originally stated, it was an employee of the club who told me and maintained from the outset right up until now that it was Stratfield Brake that had been identified as the prime site. I have known this person for over 20 years and trust them. One or two 'dummy' sites may have been thrown in!!
So, you get your information from someone at the club.

Mine is first hand, from being involved, and I can categorically state that in October 2019 Stratfield Brake was NOT the front runner. It was one of three being looked at, at that time, but there was another site in the area that was deemed to be more attainable, and that is the site the club had very detailed proposals drawn up for, and it was the front runner at that time. Ultimately a few hurdles came up in respect of that site, and Stratfield Brake looked more attainable than previously, so attention switched there and we all know where we are now.

There's a hell of a lot more that I could say (and show) if I really wanted to prove my point, but I'm not prepared to put it on here and don't really need to. I'm merely responding to your (slightly bizarre) attempt to discredit me by screenshotting a post from two and a half years ago, and using it out of context.

As for "dummy sites" grow up!

Well if its four stands and a bowl roof shown in the plans surely filling in the corners would take us to around 25k.
I thought the corners may have been included so that the atmosphere with the singing going on and reverberating around the stadium would be immense.

Given that the masterplan has already been confirmed as outdated (one from 2017, confirmed by Kidlington CC's Chairman) I would take it as a pinch of salt.

Oh yes - indeed. That is exactly what I think would be the plan. The questions then are about cost of parking, amount of parking, frequency and capacity of shuttle busses and provision of safe walking routes for those so inclined.
I think shuttle buses would be the key to all the parking sites around the are designated for the ground both park and rides and even at the Oxford Parkway station and with football busses from around Oxfordshire to get to the ground will increase the fan numbers. Also it may go towards alleviating the parking woes that are experienced at the present time.

Yes you are
Am I???
I don't think you'll get many on here dedicated to follow oufc on here than me.
Bet you they didn't stand at green road rouderbout hitchhiking the length & breath of the country for many a season.
Absolutely Clueless 😘

Other factors not really mentioned are:-
Knocking down the current ice-rink at Oxpens frees up valuable city centre space and it's an aging building.
Knocking down the Kassam frees up valuable space for homes. Kassam must be rubbing his hands at this if he can get rid of the stadium and presumably some car-parks. Though how will this affect the rest of the Ozone and hotels?

Again yes you are

Where do you live then? Bit extreme?

Of course I don't mean to be disrespectful to any residents of Kidlington but lets be honest it isn't the easiest place on the eye. I'm sure it has a good community and full of nice people, I'm just talking aesthetically. Me ? I'm in the middle of a sale and purchase and temporarily in Cumnor.

I think Oxford City Council want to develop Oxpens for office space ( I maybe wrong ) something being muted in the OM last year I believe, so with the SB appearing to be including an ice rink then that’s win win for OCC

Deary me, touchy!!
As for trying to discredit you that's over the top. You did exactly that to me and Wallop back in December 2019 by saying Stratfield Brake wouldn’t happen!! I also said at the time "fair enough Colin", no hissy fit from me.
And as for "grow up" I'm 63 and been a supporter from 5 years old so have a bit more grace.
