I in fact only commented because the other poster who mentioned this first was called out to be making it up, which obviously is not the case as I was there when it was being said.

Fullback is one of those positions you can put anybody in and they will perform though, you ask KR. I think Dan Agyei will be the longterm solution when he tires of playing on the wing.

I am amazed at these comments.
The bulk of the squad are here. Of the first team we are missing what 2 players (obviously a left back and maybe a CB depending on how ready McNally is)
Waiting for quality players is not scraping the barrel. Surely most supporters get the fact that PL clubs are not close generally to deciding who they are going to send out on loan.
Groundhog day maybe with regard to pretty kneejerk comments that don't reflect at all the reality.

If we were to sign Joe Walsh and that’s a big if, when fit and unfortunately for him that’s not often enough, he would be considered one of the best LCB’s in the league, if not the best. No doubt about it he is a class player.

For me the surprise is that our ITK's have not mentioned Barker and whether we ever intended to look to keep him or indeed have had conversations if we did.

When Shodipo went to Wednesday there was only comment re him and not that we have someone else sorted (Especially Barker)

He now becomes the final part of the triumvirate of ex-players [Holland & Browne being the other two] we wait on to sign only for them to get injured/have a change of heart and then we move on to sign another unknown LW at the last moment. It’s what we do!
