Let them go bust and reform, or not.
The club is the fans, not the chairman, players or the ground.
If the fans are loyal, then they'll be back in a few years with stories to tell like AFC Wimbledon.
We would have been playing Championship football by now if it wasn't for clubs like Reading, Derby, Bolton, etc etc, paying excessive wages that they couldn't afford.
How much tax money did Derby not pay when they went into admin? £40Million? Same with Bolton.
Not struggling now are they.
Ka$$am drove us into the ground (still is), they laughed.
They'll get no sympathy from me.
The Football league are already making noises as if they are going to let Reading get away with what happened on Saturday, so they seemed to have changed the narrative from them overspending for years and no one wanting to carry that on to poor us by throwing the toys out of the pram.
Clubs who have been in the prem seem to get the kid gloves treatment as well, whereas the little old Burys get no sympathy at all, it’s a two tier system despite the far bigger debts run up by the likes of Reading.
As you say we got shafted by Kassam, still are being, but for the super entitled modern fans of fleetingly in the premier league Reading falling out of the FL and fighting you mr way back is not good enough apparently, they need the football league to bail them out.
