My god what a club.

They start rebuilding a stand at the Memorial Ground, but it turns out they haven’t got planning permission.

Yesterday a bid of £800,000 plus add-ons for Jonson Clarke-Harris was agreed with Peterborough but Rovers failed to get it registered in time. So JCH stays in Peterborough.

I suppose it’s for the best, they can use the transfer money to pay the legal costs when the council do them.

Well done Peterborough. Rovers sold a striker expecting JCH to come in, which has really fkd em.
He will stay at Peterborough until the January window, where he’ll then be hot property for any team needing a striker…. Which might include us.

Agreed, Rovers are proper Bristolians, not as delusional and entitled as the other lot.

Wouldn't however stop me chuckling if they ended back up in the NL.

They’re our second most played opponent behind Portsmouth and ahead of Swindon.

Massive game for them against Newport on Saturday too.

Have no particular hatred for them as a club - they seem like a passionate and committed bunch.

But no desire to play them again because our general record against them in my supporting lifetime has been horrendous. We've played 45 games against them since the beginning of 1994 and only won 11!

They are nasty brunch of farmers , from the council eastes round the edges of Bristol. Who always causes problems at our games.

I've been to plenty of Bristol Rovers games (home and away) including when they played at Bath. Been to games when there was trouble as well. A wrong assumption on your part.
