Firstly I'm sure they didn't make it "deliberately problematic."Powers that be have really screwed up on this game, making it deliberately problematic to:
a) see your own reserved tickets.
b) buy tickets for your guests online.
Either do online properly or forget it !

Ive been 'mocked' several times(on here) for going to the ticket office in person, and paying (by choice) in cash
Got to say Ive not had a problem buying match tickets the old school way, for any match at the breeze block. as yet... bought mine and my granddaughters tickets from the ticket office, in person, paid by cash, for the Sunderland cup game, last week
have to agree 100%I’ve got to say the OUFC online ticket ordering system is generally one of the best I’ve seen, usually easy to use, you can zoom in and out to select the exact seats you want, and even look at a photo of the view of the pitch from wherever you’ve chosen! And then you can get it emailed directly to your phone so you don’t have to mess around with physical tickets... As an exile it’s absolutely brilliant
assuming your phone is of the mobile computer device type, n not a basic mobile phone of courseI’ve got to say the OUFC online ticket ordering system is generally one of the best I’ve seen, usually easy to use, you can zoom in and out to select the exact seats you want, and even look at a photo of the view of the pitch from wherever you’ve chosen! I have tickets for Sunderland, but had to phone Christine in the ticket office to purchase a guest ticket.contact Kath , OUFC (supporters liason officer) SLO, she may be able to advise on how to approach the issue?
hopefully the club are aware there are issues with the Sunderland cup game ticket purchasing online...and are looking to rectify the problems/issues?

Can you even get those any more?!
one of the (many) downsides of purchasing electronically - with no hard copy ticket- is the lack of wifi around the breeze block, is that if the weak wifi signal is even weaker than usual,&you cant access your emails on a hand held device, howd you gain entry to a match that youve paid upfront to go and watch?
asking for a friend
for an old man with a fear of technology? You don’t need signal to access the ticket at point of entry, you just save it to your electronic wallet on your phone (or even just take a screenshot of the barcode) and then it’s basically the same as a paper ticket (they just scan the barcode on your screen) so you don’t have to have any signal at all
What are the other drawbacks?
for an old man with a fear of technology?
Positives:
You don’t have to go anywhere, saving time and money and effort
You can see exactly what seats are available and where, and take your time to choose the exact seats you want
You can have a look at what the view is from the seats you’ve chosen, and how many are currently free near you
No queuing at the ticket office or waiting on the phone, even if you book only hours before the game - much more flexibility
Better for the environment
No need to print anything off or have anything sent in the post which could be lost and costs money. No need to queue to collect tickets at the ground
As long as you have a phone or access to one you can’t lose or forget the ticket, or have it damaged or destroyed
Your wallet shows exactly which games you’ve been to this season which can be nice to look back on if you have a bad memory like me ?
