Buckingham has said tonight another centre-forward and a right winger to come in - hopefully by the weekend.
I will believe it when I see it.

And even then you will post negatively about it.I will believe it when I see it.
I think the fairest thing to do is to wait until mid Feb. By then any new players should be settled and there is nothing more we can do. It was agreed almost categorically on here that 2 or 3 transfer windows would be needed to rebalanced robinsons legacy and we haven't had those yet.
Well historically speaking it is from some fans perspective and I expect this sort of conversation goes on at many other clubsMaybe we do...
...just....why is the grass ALWAYS greener...?
BrowneWho is this you're talking about?
He didn’t look interested from the first minuteTyler Burey looked Impressive.....NOT!
Why would we sell him or any of our better players? All this talk of incoming players, I’d be more concerned of outgoing players (Branagan)
And even then you will post negatively about it.
Weren't you claiming we wouln't sign anyone until January 31st?
Yeah, and we finally sign a striker that won’t feature, before the 31st January. Only OUFC could sign such player.
That’s a strange way to interpret his performance. Chased the ball down every opportunity and ran 60 yards towards his own goal at a sprint in the closing mins to plug a gap left by Smyth flying in to a 50/50 and getting booked. He didn’t look interested from the first minute
Given that they issue was spotted in the medical, would you rather the club had pulled the plug on a signing becuase of 2 weeks out?Yeah, and we finally sign a striker that won’t feature, before the 31st January. Only OUFC could sign such player.
Agree - he was getting into positions on the left and looking for the ball. However, whenever we got the ball that side we'd then switch back the other way, so he wasn't given the opportunity to shine or show what he can do.That’s a strange way to interpret his performance. Ok didn’t get as involved as we’d like but don’t think he lacked any effort or interest.
Wasn't he already out injured before the medical?Given that they issue was spotted in the medical, would you rather the club had pulled the plug on a signing becuase of 2 weeks out?
Played 45 mins on New Years Day, then missed Portsmouth. Des said that the issue that is keeping him out now wasn't flagged until the medical.Wasn't he already out injured before the medical?
If the injury he had now is different to his thigh injury, then from what I can tell from Cheltenham based news articles is he's had separate ankle, thigh, groin and quad injuries all in the last year.Played 45 mins on New Years Day, then missed Portsmouth. Last night we didn't play to anybody's strengths. I don't often agree with the criticism going Des' way as he's had virtually nothing go for him but you have to wonder what we were trying to do last night. It's like we were surprised that they target Cadden's side and put good deliveries in. Who did we consider as our danger man and what did we do to make them as dangerous as possible? I just didn't see it. By comparison it was clear in both halves what Barnsley were trying to do. It was one of those rudderless days we've seen before with Des and does leave you wondering whether this is just going to be it with him. It wasn't all that unlike last season under Robinson. Fairly thoughtless, aimless and in the end leave it to Cam.Agree - he was getting into positions on the left and looking for the ball. More likely they found the reason for his thigh issues that had, up to that point, not been detected which explains him being brought back too early. If the injury he had now is different to his thigh injury, then from what I can tell from Cheltenham based news articles is he's had separate ankle, thigh, groin and quad injuries all in the last year.
