3 days into the transfer window and we've not signed anyone yet @bazzer9461
This time last year Plymouth had 3 new signings. If you want to get promoted you have to act quickly, anything at the end of any transfer window is just a bonus.
To be fair to Liam Manning a lot of players were sorted early let’s see what Des Buckingham can do.

Someone should be asking where all the Fleetwood money is coming from. They won't of course.
The jailed owner's wife is running the show I believe and all their companies are put into one majority-owned holding. Even if Fleetwood are skint, they can find money somewhere from the other businesses, although proceeds of crime petitions could see money being taken from the football club to compensate.

Couldn't say how reliable this account is, but it is likely to be more reliable than many others on X. At this point they must be looking to move 1 or 2 on, I know there is interest in Charles, but who needs 6-7 strikers, as lovely as it would be.
Well, if nothing else, it highlights what other sides see as necessary to get out of this division. Overkill? Yes, perhaps, but have to applaud their will to leave nothing to chance. Perhaps they feel that there isn't anybody who can offer the kind of goal scoring ability of Charles, should he get injured. Either that or they anticipate a battle to keep hold of him beyond the summer even if promoted and want his successor in now.

We need to take a leaf out of their book as soon as the opportunity presents itself. It's not a great standard this year but it is still competitive and bold moves in this January will likely see a few teams sail to the top. It isn't quite apples vs apples as they aren't hamstrung by ridiculous contracts from yester year and players who wince in pain tying up their laces, but there are things we can do if we show the kind of ruthless attitude our competitors appear to have and we started to show in the summer. It's eat or be eaten.

Yep, Ruthless is absolutely how I would describe Tim and Grant.

I'd get it if they got him in on a permanent to replace Charles if he is sold. As a loan, makes little sense. Certainly from Luton's POV anyway.

Chesterfield fans adore Dobra, he's having a storming season. Very skillful and direct in the games I've seen, would love to see him link with Ruben.

22 years old, talented and only 6 months left, would be excellent business if we can pull off a deal.

Seems to play quite narrow for a winger. Wonder if this is a sign Des is moving towards the shape we played against Charlton.
