Ryan Reynolds makes more than $20m a movie these days. Dude can afford it!

Honestly, when white knights ride in to take over a lower league or national league club, you usually never quite know if they're doing it because they've seen a way to asset strip and make a tidy profit (hello, Firoz) or because they just want a new random plaything, and see being a football owner as a fun way to burn through some of their excess cash.
And you also don't always know if they really do have the funds to back up their talk.

But Wrexham fans must be loving it because you know someone like Reynolds is just doing it for a laugh. There's no danger that he's doing it for unscrupulous reasons - the only danger is that he might get bored. And everyone knows he's loaded!

Reynolds also has a midas touch with his investments. Aviation Gin sold for $610m and he is a significant stakeholder in Mint Mobile (mobile phone company in North America) is valued at about $800m. Football, at least that WFC's level, is the graveyard of investment, but RR is a clever bloke and there will be method in his madness.
 
Not that it was ever a possibility but Simms is starting upfront for Everton this eve

Youngsters like Simms and Gordon done well enough up there. (Premier league)
Branthwaite a youngster signed from Carlisle with equaliser.
As for Dobbin thought he looked very bright, seen him a couple of times and reminds me of Gavin Whyte

Thought Branthwaite was superb and dealt with some top Chelsea players with ease. Tall, stocky and somehow quick too, looks a ready make PL player with some coaching.

Most of those players would probably find loans with lower championship teams in January

Yes it sounds as if Cooper has just about gone.
Not sure how accurate the rumours was as to Williams going back to Australia.
This guy also looks as one for the future?

Hope Williams stays. Quality reliable squad player to have around for 2nd half of season, as is Forde.

3 incomings for me. Agyei & Cooper to go for me replaced with 2 exciting loanees (a striker & a left winger) & a experienced championship CDM on a 6 month deal to cover Gorrin loss. Anything extra is a bonus realistically.
