EFL - The Covid-19 decision

There must be some pencilled in dates for this by now?
L2 semis are a week today and the following Monday, but they knew what was happening weeks before us, so have been back in training for a few weeks already.
The following weekend (27/28 June) is FA Cup QF weekend, with the 10 Prem games spread all the way from the Sat to the Thurs, so I would take a guess at the weekend after that (Sat4/Sun5 July) with the two legs perhaps split on the Friday and the Mon/Tues. That will have only given us about 4 weeks of training, so they could be delayed for a couple more weeks, but the early L2 dates suggest to me they will want to get them done and dusted sooner rather than later.

Didn’t realise Hall was ineligible for the play-offs. I know he wouldn’t have started but a shame for him. Glad to see him back training with us however.

I missed that too. I think I'd seen it about the PL but totally forgot when I saw him back training with us. But you're right, it'll be good for him to be back training with us and being part of the next few weeks.

Is he? What's the reason?

Sky sports news just said Wycombe are back in training ahead of next weeks semi final against Fleetwood. So I'm guessing it will be Friday.

Looking at the pictures from training on the OWS , it shows Liam Kelly training so we must have permission for him to do that so I assume he is available to play.

We should’ve beaten them anyway. Those players weren’t fully fit and we went there expecting to just roll them.
Bloody awful night.
Awful performance.
Only memorable for the pre-match Dambusters theme and because I felt a lump in my neck, that turned out to be cancer.

I can't believe how easily people on here find it to ignore this - the Bolton side we played was made of part of the same squad of kids that were playing previously and a handful of older players brought in only a day or two beforehand and who would have had no time to train together or barely even learn each other's names, so were hardly the mightiest of opposition we would face all season....

For the purposes of arguing online, I looked at this earlier. Four players only were common to each game, of whom one was a goalkeeper and a second played onfield for eight minutes only.

Point being, Bolton Wanderers themselves thought the previous XI they had been fielding in the league was inadequate and almost all of them needed replacing. They had even cried off some fixtures due to the inexperience of this team. Over-confidence on our part or nay, doesn’t obviate the fact that the Football League created an element of absolute farce by allowing Bolton to field a novice XI for points, and not managing the situation so much better.

One game, v Doncaster, I believe? Something about their young squad struggling with the physicality of the workload?

This puts everything else into perspective, hope your on the road to recovery. Best wishes .
