CWC 19 : West Indies V India

on form it should be an India win ... however, with the way matches have gone in the CWC of late, it could go either way

set to start at 10.30am

India to win, hopefully picking up a couple of minor injuries to key players requiring them to miss the next game ?

decent bowling in the first 5 overs .... quite a few dot balls .... that said India are not renowned for swinging n slogging with the bat in the first 5 overs when batting in 50 over odi's , yet tend to go on to attain decent amount of runs ( take note Bayliss & Morgan)

17-0 after 5 overs

Sharma gone for 18 in 6th over .... controversially too , debate whether there was or wasnt contact with the bat, but after review its given out

38-1 after 8 overs

theres been some really good bowling from the Windies .... India's batsmen patiently picking their moments ,... so far a good contest

15 overs... 67-2

Holder deseved that wicket ! Rahul went for 48 in the 21st over

India reach 100 .... 104-2 after 22 overs

Kemar Roach whips out the 3rd. Lovely ball, according to the replay on ESPN. Where has he been all the world cup?

Jadhav went for 7 in the 29th over .... 148-4 with 20 overs left

this could be a close run match ?

is that Bob or No Hope wicket keeping for Windies? .... what a missed opportunity for a stumping that was!

15 overs left of India's innings

166-4 .... 280-300 ish final score, or will Windies start taking quick wickets as India start rattling up the runs ... this could be entertaining

MS Dhoni gets his 50 in the last over, then wants to change his bat for the last ball of the innings ... and delivers a 6  .... 268-7 ... decent score at Old Trafford that is

That was very Dhoni. Turned down 3 singles, changed his bat for the last ball. Hits a six.

The result of this match makes no difference to England, so I’m hoping for a Windies win. Nothing quite as irritating in the world of sport as a victorious Indian cricket fan.
