Very defensive start from Ukraine but two good goals from Kane and Saka have sorted out the first half.

Maddison has played pretty well on his full debut.
England have a wealth of talent in midfield/ wide men

Yep, I think if Ukraine hadn't parked the bus, he'd have had a couple of shots on target.

It's a funny beast, international football. A couple of moments of excellence but not that exciting IMO.

There was a Sheffield Utd / Blackburn (i.e. all Championship) FA Cup tie on the box the other day, and I have to say that I haven't enjoyed a 'neutral' game of any sort so much for a long time. I don't watch enough of it to say, but I wonder if the Championship is the 'sweet spot', less technical and sterile than a lot of the Prem games and better players and managers than in L1?

'Unsung hero' is a curious description.

Widely heralded as one of the outstanding young talents in English football and the star player for the probable English champions.

Quite well sung I'd say (had to be very careful not to make a typo there).
He doesn’t seem to get the same attention as say Harry Kane.
He’s a class player a good winger and one that should start every international match if he’s fit

I think it’s far to say that’s most of the hard work done in this group.

Where are Ukraine playing there home games at the moment?
