Ah. You could well be right. There was a club that went bust during one of our Conference seasons (Rushden?) and their results were voided, I think
A great win but again, against a poor side.
So far in the league, Des has beaten:
Burton (19th)
Cambridge (16th)
Charlton (13th)
Carlisle (23rd)
Don’t get me wrong, you’ve got to beat the teams below you and if we can go on a run of wins that’s great, but I’ll really start to believe if we can beat one of those top 7 sides who seem to be pulling away…
Not a sausage in sight!
Jesus on a tricycle. We won. Try to relax.View attachment 17400
Please stop saying Christ on a bike
Des is out of his depth
It was indeed! You too.Was that you at carlisle station after the match around 18:30? Good to say hello.
Big fine and points lost, maybe playing behind closed doors? The only thing is you know our game will be a big target for them, especially as it’s a 12.30 kick off so will get the publicity as less games on.
Everyone needs to searched for tennis balls at the least.
There was a brief thing on the radio a couple of weeks ago (I think 5 live maybe) about the promotion race in League One. Oxford weren’t even mentioned, but about 5-6 other clubs were!
Des just said ‘don’t get too high, don’t get too low’
System upgrade. Manning 2.0 is now fully operational.
Par for course!Delighted to have been wrong.. didn't play great but won well.
Well done all involved!
Not surprisingly I don't have a great feeling about today. Will take a couple of games for Cumming to get used to a defence that has been shaky as hell the last few games.
Burey an unknown quantity.
1 nil Carlisle.
Yeah I’ve been a big critic of Stevens, but that was a genuinely world class first time pass. If Debruyne had played that pass, we’d never hear the end of it from sky pundits!View attachment 17403
Right on the line, great call from the assistant ref! VAR might have overturned it but either way it's not clear and obvious.
Shout-out of Stevens for seeing the pass and threading it through the gap perfectly first touch for Harris to run on to. That takes real skill.
Wrong thread he’s just been expunged from Next DoorChester.
In Paul Simpson's post match IV, he stated the linesman had said the full back was playing Harris on, which appears to be the case judging by this screen shot. Cracking call by the linesman. It is easy to criticise officials, but we also have to praise them when it is due too. Well done lino!View attachment 17403
