New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

"Oxford Road is a key and well-used route allowing residents of the (sic) Cutteslowe, Five Mile Drive, Summertown and other areas, access by vehichles to local amenities including Sainsbury's, sport and leisure facilities in Kidlington and many others. Removing this amenity can not be considered acceptable"

As if the road is going to be destroyed permanently! Pathetic melodramatic nonsense. And you can see them scratching around as to why they need to use it at all times - 'to go to Sainsburys, and er, like, other places in Kidlington'. NAME THEM LOVE. Where do you need to go in Kidlington on Saturday afternoon? And how will this ruin any chance of getting there?

Is this clown actually suggesting that the county's only professional football club should die because some absolute c*nt on Five Mile Drive (when they're in OX2 and not their London address) might be slightly inconvenienced when it comes to popping to Sainsburys on a handful of specific occasions?

Get tae f*ck.

When you have such passion for the club, and see the value it brings to the community in so many forms, it's hard not to be slightly dismayed when you hear councillors object because someone might not be able to go to Sainsbury's between 5-5:30 without taking a slight diversion, a couple of times a month.

Access to Cutteslowe Park is not going to be affected by us having a stadium at the triangle for anyone, let alone Summertown Stars boys team, the lying bastard. Anyone voting for the Lying Democrats after this is mental, them and the anti democratic alliance with the Greens which is against any investment, is just a front for nimby organisations.

If you want your kids to have some hope of living and working in or around Oxford in the future do not vote for the Lib Dem/Green alliance dominated by wealthy north Oxford elite, they will put LTNs up in the working class areas but won't accept a 5 minute diversion a few times a year? Basically want to kill Oxford for the working and lower middle classes, they would put that wall up again in a heartbeat if they thought they could get away with it.

Turning down a huge investment and further wealth so that people have the option of not being slightly delayed on very few occasions a year, before they then get the shopping delivered anyway.

CALL TO ACTION
Key action and templates just released on the Stand United page. Admins could you pin this and/or set up a new thread?
I feel we need leaflets on seats at the remaining games this season. Would get loads more responses

Just spoke to my sister on the phone Suzanne McIvor on behalf of FoSB is sneering at OUFC s £10k contribution to local facilities, as well as insisting OUFC can remain at the breeze block in todays OM letters page...more spin , misinformation & mistruths from a local millionaire developer abd professional protester.

Are we surprised the husband of Katherine Jane Willis, The Baroness of Summertown holds these views?

Its actually a very small interlinked elite that bring very little to city, with work and houses elsewhere, who wish to stop anything happening for others who live in the city, an anti democratic elite which has bought off the greens and liberal democrats and has put a stranglehold on progress, costing others jobs and improved prosperity.

I have said it above but anyone voting Lib Dem or Green in upcoming elections is mental, they are bought and paid for, they will screw you over in anyway that helps the wealthy people they represent.

Least we didn't try nicking £3K off a local parish council.

How many times do they have to publish that woman's ramblings?!

Let's hope Cherwell District Council see through the elitism behind the anti-stadium campaign.

If the Ultras hadnt been hounded out there would likely be a few choice worded banners on display for the sky tv cameras a week tomorrow eve I reckon

Shame on those at OUFC who backed Mixters campaign against the Ultras...they not only bought colour and atmosphere, they pulled no punches making thier views known

And delivered on any fundraisers for special displays too
