Fa Cup Fourth Round draw

If I was still living in the UK, I'd have liked this draw.
We haven't been to St. James Park since 1993, so it should be a fun day out - and you know what, we'll have a chance against them. They're not a great side, even when they field their strongest side.

But as an exile.....won't be on TV, won't be a massive money-spinner, and we'll still be underdogs. A home tie against anyone would have been preferable.

I'm an exile, and was able to get the game vs. Hartlepool streamed on Vipbox.tv, with no annoying pop-up ads and good quality (at least in the second half...the quality from the mighty yellows left a little to be desired in the first half) and so there's no reason to think that the game vs. Newcastle (or even Rochdale) won't be equally available.

£79 return leaving on Friday evening returning Sunday lunch time. Game would have to be played on the Saturday
I noticed that as well, worth considering but obviously 2 nights accommodation to add on to cost.

If its Newcastle then its £112 return on the train..... leave at 7.12 am, arrive 10.43am return leaves at 18.36 home at 21.31. (y)(y)

Watch them shift it to a Sunday feckin lunchtime.....

Remember arriving at St James`s for the waterlogged game............... long drive that was.

Hull v Chelsea Brentford v Leicester West ham v West brom Watford/Tranmere/Manure/Wolves Bristol/Shrewsbury/Liverpool

b list Bournmouth v Arsenal Millwall v Sheff Utd Southampton v Boro/Spurs Northampton/Derby

They didn't bother when we were at Home to Newcastle so should they win will be on Bein Sports channel (of which there are many) :)

Folks, here's some useful advice from last time we played them. Can save a canny £50 on train tickets.
Link only shows part of the article unless you have a Telegraph subscription, can you post full article or at least the split ticket requirements?

A quick Google on 'train split tickets' came up with this site...

...and a few alternatives. No Idea how reliable this is, so use at your own risk. I have heard of this before, never tried it though.

It's annoying that presumably we won't know the date and time until next Wednesday at the earliest - leaving only a week and a half to make arrangements and get tickets etc. It would be good to know, regardless of the opposition, that it would be 3pm on the Saturday for example. Whilst I don't believe we will be a TV game what worries me is all the weird kick off times they did in the 3rd round - 12.30 and 17.30 on the Saturday and 2, 4 and 6pm on the Sunday. These were for non televised games although I believe the reason is that they were broadcast abroad. This also happened last season although I think only in the 3rd Round so we should be ok for a normal 3pm Saturday I'd have thought.

This was the best bit............ "he spent the entire match in hospital A&E with his girlfriend after she fell over and injured her face on the way into the game. "

? ?
