If I remember correctly, our YT played in the first ever competitive fixture on the pitch at their training complex.

I also seem to remember that more players from our side in that game went on to careers in the English game than the mcfc side ( but haven't got the time to re-research it again to check)

That's right - December 2014, it was a test event.
Man City 2-0 Oxford United.
The City team got to the final and lost to Chelsea, the likes of Kelechi Ihenahco, Brandon Barker and Kean Bryan didn't play against us.

Oxford United U19s host Premier League Leeds United under the lights at the Kassam tonight in the Fifth Round of the FA Youth Cup. Kick off is at 7PM and the game will be available to livestream.
